it looks damn good, was this the first car you painted and prep'd or have you been doing it for a while? did you do any kind of write up on it? once again man...looks like you did a DAMN good job
oh yeah, how many stages is the paint?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thanks man! This was the first car I ever painted..hell first anything ive painted short of rattle can primer (which i sanded off anyway lol) I didnt do any write up but I did take pictures throughout the process. I spent a lot of time reading on http://www.autobody101.com because literally every question I came up with has been asked already on that site...so I just went through and read everything. Its a "2 stage" paintjob meaning basecoat/clearcoat. All the chips were stacked against me because the color is a metalic and a pearl which is tricky to get it to lay down correctly and its a darker color which shows all the flaws in the bodywork (and there are plenty). It looks great in pictures, it looks good in person but dont kid yourself its not perfect
, but it is good enough for what the car is for.

i will check out and read up on that site for sure, you are right though pearls and metalics are really hard to get right...there are always some flaws but in the pics the general job still looks great. body work and prep is really not easy at all, since you did a two stage job have or are you going to wet sand it for an even smoother finish? thanks for sharing so much info thus far

alloys are being held onto but ehhh i think some bling C.O. Volk Racing is better.
rear window louvers oem isn't easy to find
but a good theft deterrant.... 1/2 way to the volks going on
