Well, well it starts again.
This is my build that I am trying to put together for Nisei. I haven't even completely started yet and I already have a headache
The reason this is gonna be a hard one is:
I have 2 months before Nisei (Aug. 20th)
I have a Full-time Job
As of right now I do not have a garage to work in
I have a 8 month lil girl
A Nagging Fiance (oh yeah my wedding is Aug. 19)
I'm the process of moving
...and I have never done a build this extent before
The goal:
Take a previous salvage title car that was almost finish and swap all the working parts over to another clean title frame and build the **** out of the car(89 to 90)
Alright lets start the Fun
Some may remember my other car
Started like this

Then to this

And then Blowh

Then Mr. Vega got himself into a lil Fender banger when it all ended up like this

And while it was awaiting it fate someone decided to finish her off and hit me from the front.

some might say "Hey James give it up! You have bad luck"
But why, its fun as hell and I have nothing better to do with my time
Any question about the build go for it
and suggestion on how I should do something, please say 'em cuz some of this stuff foreign to me.
I'll be putting hella pictures on here of what I will be carrying out on my off days. So Far I have started stripping the everything down

Alright first delayed update:
So far I have sold and purchased a lot of stuff just to get the project really going..But I kept the good stuff
The chargespeed Wing you see..SOLD
I had the EF9 tail light setup...SOLD
I had a extra set of EE9 moldings...SOLD
Some extra rims here and there were SOLD
I have already started taking the old car apart.
the motor that was in the White car was this

If the project falls to **** before the 20th then this will be the motor that will get me up to LA on that day. Sucks but having it running is the least of my worries since I have a perfectly good working motor.
My European EE9 rear bumper was totally smashed up from the accident. So now I have to source another one. Also some basterd stole my customized European front plate
Oh yeah and I have to get another front bumper

This time around I will be making sure I use USDM reinforcement for the back and the front of the car for more protection. so once I get the two bumpers I will have to figure out how to mate the supports on their foreign, more Beautiful, counterparts.

My other rear bumper

The interior int he red car is going to play switch-a-roe for the other car...Reason: Well my car is a 89 hatch. This means I had the seatbelts on the rear panels rather then the door like the EF/EE9. I also had installed the powerwinder set up from a EE9 GL (European version) civic.

I was misinformed on this cuz I thought ALL European EE9 were LHD like us but found out that only in Finland and another country did they have LHD...everyone else is cool enough to have RHD. So i was in for a suprise when I got the door cards and switches. So I took them up to a shop in El Monte to get them installed for $100, althought it took him 5 hours to do it
But it was worth it. after the accident I was going to sell them cuz I was hoping to get another 88-89 hatch. which didnt happen.
so I took out the panals and possibly the whole door

oh yeah I basically thrashed this thing in the process of everything

And... Last post for the day
This is all I have done so far on m last day off which was Tuesday
I ended up finding another ED hatch. This time a 90
but **** it was cheap as hell
$200 with running 92 CX d15b8 motor, full interior, dropped (which sucks) and most of all CLEAN TITLE <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Napoleon Dynamite voice »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">YESSS!! </TD></TR></TABLE>

Good thing I kept those doors and interior. So I'm going to fully take out the whole interior in the 1990 ED which is Blue by the way and use my black 89 Interior

This thing had some serious spider webs in it. Hope I dont find the maker
Oh and look whats near my gas tank
And I dont smoke

The hardest part is taking out the dash..where the hell are all the bolts that hold it on

I'll post picture of the donor car when I get home
Thing that sucks is I only have two days out of the week to actually do this
