I did all the prep and paint myself in my garage. The color I really wanted was called "brickyard red" from the 350z but it was not available in the less expensive line of paint (dupont nason) and it was 115$ per quart as opposed to this color that was about 37$ a quart. The point of the whole thing was to keep it inexpensive. The car was orignally black.. then it was stolen and stripped of all the sheetmetal (doors, fenders, hood bumpers etcetc) so I pieced it back together so I could commute in it. I dont really want to post the pics but you would think i was crazy if you saw them lol. The paint job looks 10x better than I ever expected while it does have its flaws it was a good learning experience. I have a new respect for people that do this stuff

It's threads, posts, and people like these that make me, in addition to my own desire, want to evolve the status of my car.

I think we all had second thoughts about selling our Civic/CRX's. i sure did after it kept dying on me.
but my cars a keeper. I think people with stickers that say I love my Ef really mean it. cause civc/crx's can be a pain sometimes
