I think I've settled on Silverstone. That was some killer paint. What do you guys think for the EF9 inspired hatch?

Those welds are horrible. Please have someone fix it, or learn how to properly weld, and fix it. Not being a dick, but those will break.

There is allot of stress on those braces. I remember someone had problems with their units breaking. I would make some nice solid seam welds on there, and maybe punch a few holes, and rosette weld it as well. I think I might build some now too. If I do I will make it from .120 wall 1.5" HREW, and plate it with 1/8" plate too.

i was thinking about the rosettes where it laps over...il prolly do that now...thanks

i can see where the flat ones would break off on a 2 dimensional stressed plane but where these wrap around and are wended in side too i think that takes some of the stress off of the outside part.....not trying to make an mole hill in to a mountain....but trust me if i had the $ to just buy the cuscos i would

Nah not necessary you can make better. I am thinking I am gonna tie mine into the cage. It will pierce into the cabin, and join into the bottom of the front hoop, then go to a plate on the part over the rear of the tire, and tie in there. That would be stronger than any MaS TyTE JdM stuff.

Silverstone is a bit darker. It has an awesome flake. I wasn't ever a big fan of silver until I bought that S2K, but I can't get it off my mind now. I'm going to color match the moldings and lips, then maybe add a red stripe. *gasp*

Is this beneficial for auto-x/road race? \/

I guess I'm thinking deep down if I paint the hatch silverstone and put some red seats in it, I won't miss the S as much. I've had several paint ideas that interest me, but SSM is the only one I keep coming back to. Plus, I've always loved silver EFs.

A couple more SSMs...
