Yeah, actually the fab guy is picking up the car in the morning. He's going to drop the cell in the spare tire hole, below flush, and make me an aluminum rear firewall for it. It'll be subtle and may prevent pig harassment.

Keep in mind, I live in OK, so we don't have inspections/emissions. I'm not even sure if it's street legal, but I should be fine with a plate over it.

Mickey also has a nice sand blaster, so that should save me hours upon hours of manual labor.

Here's a quesion for your guys. Where can I find baking soda in bulk? Sam's? I want to use something less abrasive than sand. Any other ideas? Would anyone local cary some sort of media specifically for blasting with?

Ya I never did that when I had my CRXs on the street, Cali is pretty tough with that and with the long driving to get to places here in Socal, it would be too frequent fillups. hehe. I contemplated on that though, I eventually cut up the car to make it a race car, but it was the biggest mistake I ever did. Once you take off those parts, cant go back.

I'm running a 5 gal for space reason's. If I baby it, it should get 35mpg. I don't mind frequent fill ups, it'll give her a chance to cool down, hehe.

hmmm, thats actually a good looking exhaust. i would still route the exhaust from the muffler around the axle and then straight out the right side with a exhaust tip or even route it along the stock way across the spare tire area and then out the stock location with a exhaust tip to help smooth out the sound more.

i could care less for trends, like james (vegabox), i just do what i want with my car, there is no general goal i am heading towards (jdm, racelook, germanlook, hardparker, etc) or trying to imitate.

i think i would too, maybe even have them just send along a extra piece and keep the muffler there. inside gets a little loud cause of where the end is, but his car is also a autocross car.

LOL, I ran across this video on break.com. This is on I-240 in OKC. I was stuck in the traffic after this happened.

Insane driving skills, or lots of luck...

I didnt know someone was actually producing these. I had plans to make my own similar to that but have it dumo at the first bend in the tunnel. Plan to use 3 - 12" resonators to keep it low tone/quiet.

i hope thats sarcasm.

a muffler shop has no business having a complete rear axle just chilling on the floor.

the real question is...is that a brewers hat on your head?
