I have to be honest with you guys. I am tired of seeing CF-48s and MR5s.

I think that is hearsay....

I know a couple have broken in the past. But there are alot of rims floating out there and plus if u kill one, there are plenty of one or two rims for sale. I think the key is to find a clean set and pay a couple dollars more.

yeah. Excatyly what I'm saying. why do you think there are some many incomplete sets out there people are selling.

Any other mugen rim you really don't see being sold in imcomplete sets
nr10
cf48
mr5
mf-10
mf-8

RNR just equals disaster for hard driving and pot holes.
To many stories floating around honda-tech to feel to safe using them other then for regular driving.

they dont call them "Race N' Replace" for nothing. Here is a Pic of B16b_coupes RNR's after his accident.

With only 5 contact points and being cast wheels, they are just as reliable as rotas.

True but rnrs are the nicest looking mugen rims period. I really want a set and the rotas just don't do justice to the rnr. Rywire has a set no problem and ive talked to another dude that had them on various cars (same set) and hit many a hole and never experienced a problem. I think its a gamble.

braking would be from some heavy force against the rim itself. They're some strong sturdy 5 spoke rims out there, but I question the RNRs
They are still **** to cracking..I won't say easier because I don't know first hand only from other peoples experience

I always questioned that. I mean, ya some peopls have cracked but what about the 100s of sets out there today.

I drove with my RNRs, i'd say from 1997/98 til 2000. Over 100K miles on the CRX with them. back then street raced, drove over potholes, you name it, its been through alot. They've been good to me.(knock on wood) It could just be a bad batch or could have had some history behind it on why they broke like that.

I dont care. RNRs forever for me. Owned them for over 10 years and will never let go of them.

yeah could have been a bad batch, who knows. I once wanted a set myself in white but after seeing some many bent, cracked and broken picture I changed my mind.
