If you have an 88 CRX, there are a few bolt-in solutions for aftermarket seats, since the 88 CRX shares the floor pan with the EF8. The problem is finding someone who has them in stock in the US.
I went with the Nagisa Auto rails for my 88 HF. There is usually a seller on eBay that has them, but they're not always in stock in the US. (I'm waiting for my passenger side one to come from Japan.) They're also a bit pricey (~$160-170 each shipped) but that is still cheaper than I was quoted by other places for custom rails, and it's just a bolt-up affair with really no headaches (This is the best part for an EF owner).
I'm sure a custom rail could possibly get the seats a bit closer to the floor, but as it is now, the bottom of my Buddy Club sits about 1" from the floor pan.

i emailed a sponsor on here, they carry nagisa rails. im leaning toward the f1spec, as this will be my first non reclinable seat and in my crx. i think im gonna just use the mounts it comes with and then make them fit my stock rails for the time being. i will post pics and probably a how-to when i do it. the guy at f1spec states that they can hit the floor. i need to be about 2-3" inches lower then i currently sit so i can sit straight and not have to lean.

I guess I should now...it'll drive me crazy wondering what's on there. Haha.
EDIT: It's not that creepy because you don't know who did. It would be if you did.
