Just chiming in on the little tikes car. My son had a power wheels jeep That we put a bigger electic motor and 2 batteries in. It went from 3mph to about 15. I also bolted old boston acoustics computer speakers to the roll bar and hooked it through a sony disc man. My best freind who is a machinist made me some axles we could attach the nice aluminum golf car wheels.
Ill pull it out of storage this weekend and snap some pics.

They're very bandwidth-friendly
E30s are sweet as ****. My girlfriend has an 89 E30 that's the blue you always see, and it's SLAMMED on some black BBS wheels. E30s are the perfect Bimmer autocross cars because they're light as **** (relatively speaking of course).
She doesn't have many pics, but here's one
EDIT: Yes, her front lip was ripped off on a corner/curb at at Atlanta Motor Speedway

Anyways ive been working on my Ls swap the past few days, Hopefully have this bitch up and running this weekend.
Saturdays plans after the car runs friday night!!!
-Pick up cage, sir wing, sir lower console on the way to a friends house to pick up his EF9 frontend
Monday- Take frontend, Cage, Sir Spolier and J"s wing all to the body shop.
Cage Color Sugestions would be nice, Car is Black on bronze Mr5s.. Soon to be diff wheels though.
