rear seat...how do i compare...it's slightly more roomier than the back seat of a 92-96 prelude (if you haven't ever been back there, it's almost literally ankle room so the corolla would be like foot room... but i'm 6'2" so maybe it's bigger for other people
). as far as chassis flex, i haven't really had a chance to ride in a coupe before but if you ever see a gutted coupe, you'll understand why there's less chassis flex with those. the area behind the seat isn't open straight through to the trunk like most cars. as far as trunk room, it's like double the length of an EF hatch so it's pretty decent. with the seats folded down in both cars, the EF probably has a slight advantage because the rear hatch isn't as angled but they are nearly the same. either way, there's more creaks and rattles on my corolla than there are on my EF hatch.

i really like the crx's tires up there with the painted on brand on it. so nascar and its cool. there are lots of gaps with the kit, which im sure his is not really worrying about. the enkei rims ^ weigh 13 ibs i think, so they weigh about the same as slipstreams. you should look into the enkei rpf1's. they are 9 Ibs for a 15x7 inch rim.

thats cool, i had a chance at buying a stock red corolla gts and hesitated. damn, i so wanted that car. how much trouble do you have finding replacement parts for the hachi-roku? like body panels, suspension pieces, bushings? does toyota have a lot more ae86 parts in stock then honda has for EFs? (i figured i would ask you seeing as clug4ag is down and not known when it will be back up)

Possibly. It's hard to say. I would assume the car would be more crunched up without it (getting hit in the front passenger fender area at ~40mph can do some serious damage to a CRX), but he hit his head pretty hard in the accident.
And, before everyone jumps all over this and says he wouldn't have hit his head if there wasn't a cage in the car, the dude is like 6'4 and there's a good chance he would have hit his head on the A-pillar anyways. (Heck even I, at 5'11, was hitting my head on the A-pillar when I had my helmet on at the track.)
I don't have any pictures of the aftermath, and honestly, I'm not sure I'd even really want to see them.
Anyways, thankfully he wasn't seriously injured.
