I'm starting a new thread, called "Real or Fake". It can be accessed by using your PM button. If it's come down to "real or copied" plastic, it's gotten really low.

Just remember, anyone can swipe a credit card to buy $$ "real omfg" jdm parts, you cant buy skills to build/swap/tune a motors, that my friend is purely learned and experience and confidence in who you are.

You just like to rub the real and fake too much, and btw i found some slips for cheep yes fake spoon rims, not the real thing ie knockoffs. But they are light real and look great spinning 4th gear

also as plasic ages, free radical can start to eat away at so, new fake, not real, knock off plastic is stronger than 15 year old real thing.

he was concerned about breaking the real one and wanted to rock a oem lip. I suggested that he gets the fake/knockoff not real not jdm one. Incase it breaks. YOU had to but in and say omfg its not AUTHENTIC

I don't care

buy slips buy fake spoon mirrors buy fake lips. I don't matter to me.
the point of the matter is its still fake
I have so-called "fake" tires, a password lip, and some fake spoon mirrors myself and my car doesn't have a B series...but whats your point.
Because I don't spend a lot of time messing with my motor makes me lack in knowlegde...I think not my friend.
I can do a swap, I can do other regular maintence on my car too. Does that make me less of a person because I do know about Turbo...NO. Just means I'm going to either spend more money having someone do it for me or I can use my free time to read up on it. Same way with aftermarket cosmetic stuff. Some people may not know what or who was the original maker of some things. But I do and I share the with people. Whats the point of knowing something and now sharing it with people who don't know. And if you knew it before I said it then cookie for you....

and...
it is what it is.
If you can point at the obvious about you thinking my car is slow then I can point out the obvious about something being fake

just remember that

cop-out my ***.
I don't have to tare apart a motor and build it to make more horses then the factory intended it to just like you don't have buy original parts.

pick and choice your battles man because frankly this was a pointless one.

Everyone has different levels in their life. I Sir haven't reached the speed level yet but it seems that you have. And thats great. Maybe one day I gain enough interest and time to take apart my motor and play with it, but as of now my interest lay with buying the stuff that I want and making my car look the way I have always dreamed with the parts I have always wanted.

for Anit-cookie cutter styling
for buying whatever you want
for stating the obvious
for not want/caring about your motor being fast
for wanting your car to be fast
for fake and real parts

i have a question... a while back in a different thread, there was a person who did a glass top conversion onto a crx. I'm pretty sure it was a glass top, but they said that there was this glue they used and they tested it. It was supposted to be stronger than the spot welds and when they did the tensle test, the actual metal tore apart first before the glue. Does anyone remember the topic i can look back on or what the product was called? I know theres seem sealer but I don't really think that was the product. anyone else care to chime in? maybe it was a roof swap where they wanted to get rid of the sunroof and put a hf roof in for auto x. in any event, anyone have any clues?

Not if:

1. You would rather spend $1000 on the motor than a bumper/hood/fenders
2. You want to be different.

Don't get me wrong, I love the jdm front, but if I'm getting one, the whole car will be jdm. Including the smelly steering wheel
