there was about a 3 page conversation about that car 100 pages ago, illustrating the differences in "DTM" as compared to "JDM". you must have missed it.

 

I'm doin schoolwork about PR's auto culture for a class and presenting a powerpoint tomorrow on it. Spotted a clean *** and a clean *** ef.

 

apparently someone in PR did 9.60s with a Bseries powerplant but i am guessing the weight regulations must be different. 9.60s is K-series only territory stateside.

I never argued that there weren't differences between the 2. WTF are you talking about? I get it. I posted a video that I had not seen yet and I also posted it because I didnt think anyone else had seen it. I clearly stated that I wasn't sure if this was a repost? I feel for you.

Well, I finally picked up the EF (I know, ED3) sedan I had been eyeing for a little bit. Spent most of the weekend detailing it up to my normal "spec".











Should be a great daily driver for me Unfortunately I have to make myself leave it stock at least through the winter.. and after my EM1 gets a bit more track-love.. but eventually I want to do several things to this. It's great fun to drive perfectly stock.. can't imagine how it would feel with a swap

Anyway, the car is a one owner, 119k miles, 110% stock, no rust, etc etc. After my dad and I got done cleaning it over the weekend.. it literally looks like it came out of a 1991 time capsule.

some rich person needs to buy an EF. then put it in a garage in the center of the US. then fly in all the masterminds like little chase to tuck it. ill throw together a motor for it. vega_box jimmy can select the tail lights and floor mats, maybe. then we can fly in b16 madman to take the pictures. when it is done, mastershake can hardpark it.

I have just about every picture of his car saved on my HD. His is truly an inspiration, but in no way do I want to top that car

I just couldn't pass this up. I've never seen an EF around here in the mid-west in anything CLOSE to this condition.
