today i also began to wire in a gauge cluster from a 2000 civic ex. its the cluster with the blue stripe aroudn the speedo and the red stripe around the tach. i also got the electronic VSS from the same car which has 14in wheels form the factory. this should be compltely accurate, as i have 14s on my crx.

i have also modded my support and got a dual core EG half radiator to run to clear the soon to be RMF drag style header.

im taking pics of all of this to make one complete thread when im done which should be about 9-10 days.

wow i cant wait to see this thing all put back together. today i bought shift linkage mounts and Rad hoses for my B swap woot! after this i just need axles and an lsd b16 cable tranny, and then i'm going to find a healthy ls to boost or to hold me until i save up for a b16. and then the great ls/vtec will come true.

i am even going to try to twist the fitting in the intake manifold 180 degrees so it points down instead of up which will make the breather hose almost completely invisible from the brake booster.

i also grinded off all the stupid grounding mounts from my motor mounts. just smoothing some things out.

purchased a primer with a ton of filling agent that is supposed to lay down 2mm thick specifically for my engine bay to try to smooth the transitions between the metal and that glue the put in the seams.

i wired my injectors separately straight form the ECU plug so it would be easier to hide the wiring under the intake manifold, heres pics

and this is 4 injectors, plus the ground, ready to be pinned into the ecu plug.

i also reconfigured the chassis harness within the car so my ecu will no longer sit under the carpet on the pass side. i got tired of messing up my carpet every other day, pullign it out. so it will now sit on top of the carpet, up under the void behind the center console that the crx has. while its still obd0 for another couple months, ill be able to see what code its throwing without rippign my carpet up too.

interesting. got pics? I would like to see what my ecu is throwing when it is throwing a code. I was just going to take the light out of the ecu and put it in the guage cluster and have wires running from the ecu to the cluster.

no. i unfucked that car, now it sits. im building an 88 si with an si-r front now. saving efs one at a time. and yea, i need those papers.

is there anyone who makes a CF or fiberglass cap for a rex sunroof? anyone have a glass-top for sale CHEAP? that **** would be icing on the funfetti easy bake cake.

that 90 dx had minnesota cancer. and i miss my sunroof and wanted an 88 chassis so i yanked this chassis out of storage in hemet, ca and got to work on it. it wasnt pretty, it sat under a tree for like 6 months, had gerbils living in the dash and glove box. sumbitches left seeds and plum pits in all the air vents, lots of turds too. this thing was a ******* mess. but i could NOT let an original blade silver 88si go to waste under a tree.
