Too bad the falken ziex tires are horrible

I love it when I see people with $1k+ rims, and some $36 tires.

depends on the roads and driving styles. rnr's must be pretty strong, there are a lot of them around yet.

I built my car to drive, im probally making 400+ whp. There are alot of pothole and other bad ****. Ive seen alot of people complainting about their rnr cracking. IF i could get a set for the price for rotas 500-600 i would do em. but for 1000+ i think im wasting my money.

I still need to dyno it, but im sure with my setup i can make excess of 400 whp.
Built b16a on 20+ psi > 400whp. On 12 psi two years ago stock block i made 265 whp and 190 torque on a mustang dyno.

I like mr5s but i love the rnrs. I never seen any mr5 failure, but look around alot of rnrs are cracked due to their soft metal.

My hatch kicks *** in the snow.

They guy I bought the shell from gave me a mounted set of studded snow tires that were brand new.

I used them last year for a few days. My little car could go places that no one else could go. Well, the roads were icy, and only had a few inches of snow.

Pictures like that snow one above make me thankful that I park my car in my garage.

Oh, another fun thing about snow tires... I only have them in the front, and I have my rear sway bar on full stiff. So it doesn't take much for the FF drifto!! I don't have to use the ebrake to initate a slide in the snow, and the front tires maintain traction.

Tons of fun!

Ive never had a problem with the Ziex. I thought they were great tires, nice and sticky and they are cheap!

if you want rotas hit up Jaydm 858 565 2900...they also do wheel and tire packages...

as far as the ziex, they are good for rolling around on...they are not marketed as a face tire though...so you really can't expect them to preform like a racing tire...this coming from a guy that tracked his car on Federals to prove the non-believers wrong...LOL

i dont think you had to actually track it to prove that federals are not great. i thought that was common knowledge. the old azenis tires were a good deal, at least for the 14's

Eh. decent daily driving traction. Just wait till you take a turn, though, and the sidewalls feel like applesauce.

I used to like them, until I drove my car on some nice Toyos. Night and day.

If you like them, that's cool

but I'll stick to my lightweight knockoff wheels and good tires
