good luck man... MPFI wiring isnt too crazy.. if you cant figure the problem out, do you know anyone local thats done it?
my first dpfi to mpfi swap (when i put a dohc zc in my car car 5 or 6 years ago) took me two weeks of trouble shooting (every night... turns out i had a few wires in the wrong place...mis-read the instructions), so dont give up

My car is a si already, so the mpfi swap wasn't on the docket...
I got a 2nd gen dohc zc, so I needed to switch over to obd-1. I plan on running neptune when I go turbo.
Right now I'm cleaning the engine so I can spray it with alumablast. Hopefully by then, my timing belt, water pump and tensioner should be here. Then I gotta put the motor in so I can mock up the remainder of the new wire harness. Then the car is off to the body shop for bay shaving and new paint.
I'm shooting to have her back on the road by june/july sometime.

I actually worked on the car yesterday. The roof came off, and the glass came out. Tomorrow I pick up my glass roof pieces. My glass guy says he can make me a lexan piece for it. So I am buying a glass roof minus the glass, and then he will be fabbing my roof, and eventually my windows as well. Anyone need an HF skin. I won't be needing mine now.

Man you guys are all sick. All these crazy big complicated project plans. I haven't touched either car for only a couple of months by comparison and already I get the feeling I should only mess with one, not both cars.
I just dont want to get overly ambitious with a project.

Can any of you hatch guys tell me if a Bride seat rail for EF 1,2,3, and 9 will work in a USDM hatch? I was sold the wrong seat rail years ago and I need to sell this thing.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I dont think I'll get rid of either of them, at least not yet, I just dont think I'm ready to do a wire tuck, repaint, full dissassembly type stuff yet.
Heck even swapping the B16 and D16 between the two has me wondering, lol if I should do it or leave be and stick with bolt ons and simple projects - just enjoy driving them more, lol.
Once I get back in the garage this summer I think I'll figure it out. Either way, I needs me some more parts.

It will fit 88-89 except for the left rear hole. Its off roughly 1 inch. I waited like 3 months to get that rail when i got mine. No one in the states stocks them. Other than that, its perfect.
Thanks!

So basically I have $175 just chillin' that I'll probably never be able to sell?
The two rear holes line up on a '88 CRX/'89 CRX HF and one of the front holes does too. I just need to cut and weld the other front bracket and it will fit someone's '88CRX/'89 CRX HF. Then maybe I could sell it.

lol. I love the bride setup in my hatch, it has a good amount of adjustability. I couldnt be a happier with it, even with the one hole being off (its a super easy fix). Im sure someone who wants to mount a bride seat in their 88-89 hatch would want to pick it up.
I remember going to Wedge Engineering and they wanted to charge me more than 175$ to mount my seat in, AND they couldnt gaurantee me the seat height. The bride rail/slider/sidemounts is about as good as it gets, if u want the sliding feature.

So you have the bride rails in your car right now? I've been looking at seat rail options in my spare time but I don't know what to get. Leaning heavily towards Memoryfab ultra-low-downs but the price + extra charge for dual locking sliders is a big turn-off
. Only a few parts left to buy and the swap to do before I start prepping for paint

You just can't burn yourself out on it. You need to take breaks from projects here and there. I have had the car for 10 years. Everything, has been changed now. Not a single stock part remains, that I can think of, other than the clutch cable. The last few years have been hard on my pocket book, and the work has been much more advanced. I remember the simplier days when all I wanted was a nice daily driver, Si with a sunroof, a Wings West kit, some wheels, a ZC swap, and a loud car stereo. Now 10 years have past, many engines, have graced their presence to the engine bay. Somewhere along the line, I decided all the things I wanted in a car, and none of them were included in the original project. Nothing from the original build remains. If I would have worked on it nonstop that whole time, I probably would hate it, and have sold it. I even thought about it at times, and tossed around the idea of being an EX-CRX owner. Years pasts, and then I regain the ambition to resurrect it to greatness once again, to better version than before. I was glad I didn't sell the car then. Especially when I drove it with the K swap the first time.
