SOLID CELL MEANS BAD/FRIED ECU, I THINK
Just talked to Joseph Davis and he tells me Limp mode as well. I dont think youd get a cel at all if the ecu didnt work, because that light would have nothing to tell ti to light...corrrect? I still say check the map sensor wiring.
Mine didn't fit that well either, but I added in some rubber bump-stop adjusters like the stock hood has, and got it decent. I just loved how thin and light it was.

i paid $100 less then you were quoted. Also, the price i got directly from Fiber Images was $650shipped. and im further away from them then you are.

i had a Seibon on my DA, and it fit better then my FI hood fits. but again, i think my hinges are bent.

Code 0 is one solid light when you check it
it caused form a faulty ECU or wiring to the ECU
It could happen to ways that I know of from my experience.
I faulty ECU
or if your ECU is chipped and u don't have the chip in place you'll get a code 0
which will cause limp mode
I'm not 100% sure on it but thats what happen to me

If you don't have a CEL, and you jumper the wire and get a solid CEL, that means you have no codes. This is normal.
If you have a CEL and jumper the wire and get a solid CEL, that's a different story. I've seen that be a bad programming of chip, a bad connection on the socket, etc.

Ive also seen a toasted ecu do that. I know Shane mentioned the rats got to his harness too...yikes.

I'll sell u my FI one (for ef8/9 front end)
. It weighs a fraction of what the metal oem one is. I know i lost a few mpg making the switch
