Its only about 12$ a qt. at my local gm dealer. I can see how it wouldnt do jack if your clutch was screwed up/worn out. NOTHING will fix that, or mask it as some would say, but a new clutch! LOL.

not barcelona green. it was never offered in the states. when the si-r (the one that bryant owns now) was repainted we had to have sikkens/akzo nobel contact their european branch to obtain the mix recipe.

My R tranny will grind into 5th sometimes. It has a little difficulty going into it for some reason. And it only has like 15-20K miles on it. It doesnt grind when it just has difficulty, it just acts like it doesnt want to pop in like it should. I put it into 5th very slowly, because I don't want whatever the problem is to get worse. Syncromesh is a great temporary fix. But it's a lot thinner than MTF and it will leak out past your seals.

I was under the impression that Syncromesh was a heavier-weighted oil? Dunno, something about hiding problems and thinner oil doesn't make sense to me haha.

Any close up shots of how you mounted the oil cooler? Kind of hard to tell from that far away.

My roof rack is a brand called XPORT. I don't think they exist anymore... at least under that name. It removes easy enough. Haven't put it on in a while due to the cold & a lot of hwy driving. Plus the trails I ride that require driving to are closed. Ever heard of FATS? sorbacsra.org
