If I paid a photographer to shoot my wedding and he came out with a P&S and I tell him to get the hell out after he gave my money back. You get way better quality out of an SLR. I would expect to pay someone with sub par equipment far less than anyone else.

I post in there too

only reason why its being talked about in here is because for one its
Appearance / Cosmetic and you can't have that w/out first having a camera
and you can't take pictures of a EF/ED w/out a camera. So it would make this whole section of Honda-Tech pointless if people did not, for one, have cameras. We are talking about cameras because some people take pictures of their car as well as other peoples cars as a hobby. So as a Job. So of course with the knowledge being shared in here is can be used for other fellow EF/ED'ers who are looking on trying to build a career out of photographer. Hopefully the people whom helped them come out, they will in return pay back the favor be coming arranging with them a photo-shoot so they can take pictures of their EF/ED and then post in this thread so we can discuss it. Which will then turn around to the conversation of "what camera did you use for those beautiful pictures", leading us back in full circle to this discussion.

There's no point in getting upset about it...this thread gets OT all the time.

To stay on topic though, here's what I worked on today. My dash is no where near finished, but this is a start so I can finally monitor my oil pressure woes and watch my water temp closer. This is the third major step to finishing my car. The changes are as follows:

-Install EDM cluster ('cause I don't read KPH)
-Removed heater (Loss of 23.5 lbs.)
-Ditched the 5" monster tach and shift light
-Install Battery disconnect in drivers side vent
-Install Autometer Digital Pro shift light
-Beg Ryan to wire it all up
-And the best thing EVER, my very own RYWIRE Mil-Spec engine harness

I hate wiring so I'm super thankful I have Ryan to do all of that for me

^ Wiring isn't all that bad. It's the fear of screwing up and burning your car to a crisp that's bad .

More items updated in my forsale thread. Let me know if you guys are interested in any of them .

Tonight sucked ****. Me and some buddies were putting springs on the ole EJ8 and everything went to hell.
The fronts went on flawlessly.
On the rear driver's side the head snapped off of the bolt on the first try, got the strut off, fucked up the LCA (thankfully Honda Parts Connection has like 19 or so in stock and will be open on Monday).
On the rear right, the head of the bolt that goes through the shock fork rounded off , so we tried to just unbolt the LCA from the trailing arm, and wouldn't you know that the bolt broke in HALF, leaving the rest in the welded nut/threaded circle.
I have to work tomorrow at noon back in Atlanta, but am without my car until Monday at the earliest. Thank God for good friends.

EDIT: Car is from New York. **** NY/salt/rust.

Haha, no comment on how much I've gone through on my Canadian rust bucket . I love the car though, so I'm not ready to throw it away just yet...although I have contemplated doing so a few times .

edit: my crx came from Florida and the rear lca bolts were seized in one of them. I had to get a shop to remove it I remove those bolts periodically now from fear of them seizing up again.

a rusty ef would probably hinder me from doing any mods b/c it's such a PITA to work with when stuff is siezed etc.

so if my oil light blinks at me that means kk refill time kid

Living in Ohio, I messed with that crap many times. Drill, die grinder, ricipricating saw, torches, and .50 cal handguns are your friend. The handgun is for shooting the dumb SOB that drove a nice Honda in the salt.
