Yeah we had an 08 Vue in the shop the other day. It seemed like a nice unit. Engine was super smooth, and had a 6 speed auto!

if the time and money was there, probably.
I'm just messing around w/ my car right now. I like seeing it going through stages. I on't want it to reach it peak so soon because then I'll be afraid of getting bored w/ it.

haha I told my girlfriend about it one day and she was like "yea, my friend kinda told me about it. It doesn't sound that disgusting." I told her the entire thing (I watched it all..wanted to see just how bad it is), and told her that she didn't want to see it. She always claims to have a high tolerance for stuff like that. Well she finally broke down and watched it. The whole thing. and told me about it. lol she even watched the youtube reactions first. she was disgusted!

Just keep your eye out for a b81c bottom end. Either throw some higher compression pistons in it or use a 2 layer gasket with your b16 head. Then get some better cams and valves later on. That's my story

It feels like the car has reached it's peak also...although I have built the block for boost, but no boost yet (money = ). But this keeps me motivated:

if this gets worked out then this would be the ****!

The idea is good, but for that kind of boost a turbo will be easily half the price. That amount of boost and that size SC will lead to major heat soak. Not to mention you'll need to use a belt with teeth like a timing belt. The guys that try to boost over 10psi have these issues already. Ask Streetworkz, he knows alot about SC

Please, no more 2G1C talk.

I finally got my sedan in drivable condition again. On top of stealing my CDs and CD player, they attempted to steal my catalytic converter, but got interupted when the tow truck showed up. Oh, and the tow truck mangled my mint front bumper. The t-belt is back on and the motor is okay, but the dude set the timing wrong so it's ridiculously slow until about 3500rpms. I had to weld the stupid cat back on after it fell off on the way to work.
