Default DA front end on an ef?

Any one ever tried it yet. And dont flame with the its not made to go no there or it wont be easy because I am fully aware of all of that. I already have a full integra wire harness from the trunk all the way up and a whole integra dash , motor etc. But it might be unusual and unique to give the front end swap a try. Just wondering if its been done and if there are any pics.
Thanks,
Steve

please don't put things on cars that won't functionally enhance it's abilities, I swear it won't look good.

Yea it's been done. I saw a DA front end on a EF sedan in Lexington, NC.

I thought it was a DB at first until I got a better look at the rear end and tail lights.

oh heavens!!! please don't tell him where he saw one. Now he'll HAVE to go throug with it.

Once he gets in contact with that lost soul who's performed that hackery they'll start doing it to everyone they see!!!

They look good duh! My car is different, not a run of the mill JDM front end. Do I win a cookie for being different? No, different is not always good. When it involves hybriding other Honda's body parts on to a CRX, it never looks good. I have seen, DA, DC, EG, EK, frontends on CRXes over the years. What do they all have in common? Every single one looked horrible.

well im stickin up for him but ive never seen any witht he diff front ends. im sure if it looks takcy then id be the first one to say somethin about it. im a body man, grew up around it, went to school for it, and now have my own custom body work shop. i think sometimes its ok for people to be different. until i see the end results then i can tell you if it was a bad idea or not.

I guess if your a EF owner that can't afford JDM then I guess its a idiot move but if your a true EF and wanna have something look clean JDM is where its at or if you wanna go with the Mugen body kit go with that... they look clean with the oem frontend...

oh im deffinatly not sayin i dont liek the jdm front end or the mugen kit becuase i think personally they both look very nice. i and i wouldnt personally swap my front end over on my crx(from another car). if you look in my signature and look at my build thread you can see that my car had a body kit on it at one point and i took it off cause i like the "clean look".

im just tryin to put the point out that if you wanna be different be different, some people will like it and some wont. and everyone on this site knos that.

you're 17 years old, you don't know everything, you just think you do. keep your negative criticism to yourself please. take a moment to look at the car, beyond the style, and look at the craftsmanship. that was a lot of work! would I do it to my car, nope. but that doesn't mean I don't recognize someone's effort.

yeah im 17 so what. it would be tons of work props for that but the crx was not made for that or anyother year/ style. and when did i say i know everything?!(and i know i dont know everything im still learning) and am i the only one with "negative criticism"? i think not. yes would be lots of effort but could also end up all hacked up. either way i highly doubt it would look right in any way shape or form

Just do it and who cares what other people think.

Everybody has different tastes, and there's always a fad out. Some people like "aggressive" looks, while others like stock-ish or clean looks. Can't please everybody.

IMHO, that CRX has potential to look decent too. Lose the kit, wing, and paint job...

So since I am 26 and an 01 member you didn't say **** to me? Desecrations done to CRXes in this manor is an absolute travesty. There is no excuse for the ignorant decisions to embark in such grotesque destruction of a beautiful car. If this guy was doing this to a Hatch, or hell anything other than a CRX, I would have no problem. In this case I will not go quietly into the night. When I rise to power one day, I will put crx offenders in concentration camps, and execute them for their crimes.

well, I focused on you for calling a guy an idiot, that's all. people post here a lot of the time looking for opinions, good or bad. no one wants to be personally attacked though.
