I think they are ugly. They do nothing on a street car, except get torn off by parking bumpers and driveways.

I'm still thinking about selling my mild gsr setup and going with an R. This way I can get it BAR"d and not worry about cops. After its legal I can throw my BC4 cams and valvetrain in it, and still have the same amount of power.

How is the mild gsr any worse than the itr? We don't have to smog our cars, so it's all news to me. Can't you just tune the gsr down so it passes inspection?

I'm at a crossroad with my car. I've talked to 2 painters, and it's going to be $2000 to paint it. It's a std. with black bumpers, getting painted like an Si. The real problem is the roof panel is screwed up, and needs some attention. That's where a large part of the cost is. Is it stupid to spend that much on paint? What have you guys spent?

I used to think it was stupid to spend that much on paint, but after having a couple $500-600 paint jobs and because I hate doing body work, I'm much more willing to pay for something higher quality. Either that, or I gotta convince mekanism to come spray my car

I had a $600 paint job on a crx. It looked great. For a year. Then it started to break down. But I was in college, daily drove it, even in winter. It took a beating.

If the roof was fine, it would be around $1500. There is a place I can get a new roof panel from, but its $400. Plus I hate to have a new one put in. I'm leary about things lining up once the old one is removed.

they are. i think its a great motor for a daily driver that wants a little extra power.

cheap and easy. and you can still be fast with that swap. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Imo a pr3 piston lsv is a better setup, the itr is still way overpriced. And a nice lsv can be had for under 2k if not much less.

The jdm itr piston'd gsr with b16 is under $2000. I should know. I'd do a b20/vtec instead of a ls. Just for the extra displacement. The ls blocks don't have the oil squirters, do they?
