No I just despise Fits. I think they are the worst thing Honda has done since the Del Slow. I would rather be castrated with a butter knife, than have to get rid of my CRX. Nothing good is made by Honda anymore, other than the K series engines. No new cars are inspiring to me. They are all heavy plastic filled, piles of ****, with too many safety features. Unless it is for your wife to tote the tots around in, I see no credible reasons to buy a new vehicle. With the exception of the Veyron, CGT, and Zonda, only because they are unique not because they are good. I'd rather have an F40 LM GTE over any of those, including the Veyron.

Don't buy a Fit man please! Every time I see a Fit, I want to throw infants into wood chippers. Buy an Evo 9 and drive it daily. Exhaust, and ECU flash, and run 11's. Just got back from DSM vs Subey Shootout at Norwalk. I watched the Evo 9's do just that. AMS's Evo did a 8.50, the driver's door flew off, and tripped the beam in the other lane, and a 8.40. I don't like Evos btw, but living in Yay area, and what not, Evo 9 seems like a good idea.

I think we've had this discussion before. Blame the U.S. government for the weight and safety features, not Honda.

Honda must be doing something right, the Fit is the longest running body style in the company's history. They are also setting records month after month in production globally. I'd rather listen to you gripe about how U.S. automakers build the cost of the Union and their overpaid employees into the price of their cars. Honda's doing great things. GM, Ford, and Chrysler are not.
Oh yeah, don't forget Honda is kicking everyone's butt in the sub-compact class with the Fit.

There are millions of Cavaqueers on the roads too. Is it because they are good?

You're missing the point of him wanting a Fit. He's not looking for 11's; he wants mpg, reliability, comfort, and daily drivability.

Sure you get all that plus, a 11 sec time slip, minus the MPG thing, even then they are not so bad.

What about cost? My Fit was under $16k out the door, the Evo is twice that.

Ryan is a baller, he has it. Besides once the new Evo 10s come out, the 9s will drop in price, and probably pick them up for around 15-20 depending on condition.
