**** yes I did! Well, the Dekalb County Sheriff's office did... It's really not that bad. They messed up my dashboard taking the shitty radio I had, stole my strut bars, my wheels, fucked up my factory airbox, broke my glove box and smashed it in the carpet, took my iPod & FM transmitter, and fucked up my front and rear bumpers a little bit just being ********.

My dad picked up an airbox at the junkyard for me before coming to pick me up to get my car yesterday

I really want a CRX Si dash and now I just have even more reason to get a 88-89 bumpers and moulding.

when my 3rd honda in 7 months got balled up on I-10, and i was about to sell every honda part i had and jsut buy a toyota pick up, someone told me "its times liek these that separate real honda people from the not real honda people"

so bounce back with some new bumpers and a crx dash. and you can pick up another set of rotas for like 400 bucks or try something new. (konig rewinds)

edit: joe, you really kinda look like bambam bigelow.

I've got some BMW bottlecaps at my parents' house, so I'm going to get some tires on there and paint them white . I really want some Ronal Turbos and those can be had for two sets of Rotas

I agree that you can get a high quality paint job on a dirt floor provided there is 0 wind leaking into the structure. And as far as the dirt coming from the car that would be poor prep. Its all in the prep work. Shitty prep =shitty paintjob.

The booth that I used to spray aircraft parts in was a cargo container converted into a spray booth by cutting a holes in each end for the the inlet/exhaust fans and filters. That booth sucked! I was always fighting debree because the fans would kick up crap. If I left the fan off the paint would come out better but overspray would get on everything! So having a good spray booth helps alot. Also since Deftones is spraying a metallic things have to be really clean or you will see debree in the base after spraying the clear. This has happened to me many times because of the booth, not the panels I was working on. So it depends on what kinds of surfaces you are spraying, the paint used, and the surroundings. And trust me, I have plenty of experience with painting. I've been painting airplanes on and off for the last 8 years, and have sprayed every kind of material imaginable in all types of weather.

this is applied to all the painters with experience namly mike9571, urban tank, and mekanism.

Is this what i should do?
i basically strip my car down with sandpaper(400 grit), till its smooth, primer any spots that have hit bare metal, sand it till its smooth, clean it, do 3 base coats and let it dry for 15 or more min depending on the temp, let dry for about an hour or more depending on temp, put 3 clear coats on it and let it dry for a couple days or so depening on temp. sand again using 800, 1500 then 3000 grit, clean it, then spray 2-3 more coats of clear, let it cure for another 2 or so more days. sand again with 2000 then 3000 grit, use cutiing compound, then a good poishing compound, and lastly use a real good hand polish right?

KingDanOne: according to the paper i read, it said that the cell phone thing was going to be applied next year, 2008.

cheeech (mike) has dibs on the fat 5s.

i would trade my black centered mr5s for something non-oem with good tires. mine only have about 1,000 miles on them or less.

still been done.

i'm not looking to go ridiculously original but if i can find a set of used bbs mesh/snowflake style wheels i will be beyond happy. i will be extremely ahppy if i find them multi-piece so i can disassemble them and spray the centers teh same color as my valve cover and then do the moulding stripe the same tone as well.

bbs mesh wheels witht he center sprayed this color by the body shop at work on a black si-r with the same color stripe.

kinda different but i like it.
