no, nhra/scca rules state that it must be accessible if the battery is not. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I believe it either has to be in arms reach of the driver or accessible from outside the car

FYI, most clubs who run "open track" events, including the big dog, NASA, do not require you to run a battery kill switch. If you are planning on these types of events, I wouldn't bother with one. I, along with a lot of my track buddies, do not run a kill switch.
You have to run the battery cable to the rear, back to the front fuse box, and then back to the rear. That's a lot of f-ing battery cable.

so thats what that switch is for
never knew
wouldn't it be better to hide it some where??</TD></TR></TABLE>
you're killin' me smalls!
its needed for easy access in case of accident on a race course. real race cars usually have a fuel cut off too.
edit: and what they said too ^^^^
no spark + no fuel = safer.

That white integra is my buddy Justin's (wEak squad *ATL*...not weaksauceATL...) 1 wire goes from the starter to the battery, and from the battery to the kill switch. You can run the fuse box wire right off the starter.
P.S. : It now has a K20A2 in a sick *** bay.

i think its cursed. i didnt use to believe the curse. but it may be true. hopefully might pick up another d16a6 to swap with my current motor.</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah same here.
I didn't even pick my car, it picked me. It all started when I was driving my burgandy crx down this on ramp that i always drive down and a subtle chain of events led me to find myself on the side of the road in a daze wondering why the car was totaled and i was completely unharmed. I searched for another crx since i had all the parts i needed to build one except a shell. so I look at 3 of them, ALL y49????? the one that i actually test drive i drive to the end of the street, turn and drive 1/8 mile and a pizza guy comes flying by at 50 takes the bumper right off. the owner says he has a bumper to replace the one just destroyed and bam it was now my car. its been quite the experience. if i don't stay on my toes i'm afraid the curse is gonna get me.

I called summit after I got it cuz the red cap on the terminal relocators was bleeding dye and the terminals that came with the new wires dont fit the battery(I wanted to buy whatever size I needed for it), and they are sending me new relocating terminals and brass terminals for the battery free of charge.

you guys rocking hood locks, i got mine today.. generic chrome locking ones. I'm debating over spending the extra money and getting these.
if i do go with these, anyone know how they are defeated ?
as well.. been working on my ed6's wire tuck.. going to mount a dry cell moto battery in the front bumper area.. you guys think this is safe. I mean as long as i'm not a dumbass about contact points and it's locked down.
