meetings started off good today. the guy sitting next to me has done track events and autox. another guy is from minnesota and autox/rallyx/ice races. lol. so sick. and he came to karting tonight which was a joke kind of. got there at 7..got back at 1030. sucks. by the time everyone got there around 730 the next open heat was 856. oh well. fun fast track. too many karts out there. my buddy dil that is a local got in this kart that had rocket fuel. 2nd heat green flag drops and im already full throttle..zooooom..2 kart lengths..3...4...damn.

Yeah I halfway tightened them so that the seat has play to move around.

Yeah thats true, I played with the rails a lot, moved one rail or the other and tried to set the teeth in diff slots but it didnt work. Im using the stock bolt.

Yeah I tried pushing the seat forward or back and no go.

I basically got the bolt to go in, but it was so barely that it went in crooked and ended up snapping. Ima have to get it out with pliers and hopefully the threads are okay.

I think its because i used it as seat for a week so the tab prob bent in a little bit, enough to make it too tight to slide down. Sorry for the late replies guys but thx for the tips! Squad up!

Since my climate control lights never worked since I got the car, I'm going to amber them once the cold is passed and do my cluster as well. Any of you guys have experience with that?Jcarothers does but he forgot lol. I loved his setup though, just epic.

I was looking for some for a little bit. I found some buy they werent quite the color I wanted...So I ended up painting mine. I have been thinking after the winter that I will pull them out and redo with amber bulbs. Let me know if you do find some Felliphe.

Also, I wouldnt put the bolts in halfway, but only a couple threads. Should help a lot.

well something is jacked with your seat because if it fit before it should fit again unless you tweaked the body of the car somehow.

about a "build" going right. it wont..simply put.

the jdm "climate control" swap is easy. take the face off the jdm cluster and take the bulbs out. take the face off the usdm one and take the bulbs out. put the jdm bulbs in the usdm climate control and put the jdm face on. takes about 15-30mins and fyi you cant fully swap the jdm one in beause it is digital whereas the usdm on is analog.

 

I plan on keeping the USDM Si cluster so I'm just looking to doing the amber swap.

This guy on here made a sick cluster lol, it was like the best of all worlds, USDM, JDM and EDM all into 1. It looked alright! If I can only find it...

 

well if you are looking to use your cluster then pull the bulbs and put orange condom bulbs in there. you want to paint the needles..pull the needles and paint them. simple.

 

I just want amber lighting. I'm not messing with the needles, I'll get an EG6 one eventually and an S2K setup in the future. I just want my interior to look nice at night. I can't see the buttons I press, however I can tell what they are by feel. It would be a fun project!

hope all went well just got in from the gym good times. also why would you want to buy so many clusters, just save the money from the eg6 and put it towards the s2k cluster. double spending doesnt get you any where trust me i know.

 

I just want to get an EG6 one in the next year maybe and rock that for a while just to keep it OG and then upgrade to an S2000 set up after.
