Ah, the time of my life.
I love arguing with kids on JDMU who are trying to tell me you will get sooooo much better traction with a 17 inch tire vice a 15 inch tire drag racing lol.

Well, I like the site, has some sick rides on it and I can dig through them and get ideas.
However I am arguing with one of the mods and a site sponsor, both of whom are POSITIVE that they know becuase a stock honda can break loose 15's and not 17's. No ****, they don't have enough power to overcome the moment of inertia with the weight so I am trying to argue politely vice tell them they are ******* idiots

17s are better cause the sidewalls dont flex as much.
its true though... but 15>17s.

working on some teasers.....still saving money to get the rest of the audio done. getting mid range componet speakers and a amp to power them....going to some really good sounds in my car. and a new box. got a indash dvd player. i'm loving it. i'm making my car a better street car with a tad bit of class.

niceee Jeff. Damm, i remember when i had beats & a tv, i miss those days breaks & lunch at work were never boring, but i dont want to risk getting jacked. Alot of money down the drain.
fyi - I pulled 145.2dB w/ the system, not in my car though, in my bro's em2
i had pulled that system to go w/ an IDMaxv3 but fryed the vc before comps started.

You are 100% correct, no flex, no traction. The softer the overall tire, the better the 60 foot time which is all drag racing is.
The difference between et's on my old em1 was 12.60 vs 13.40 15's vs 17's. Neither drag radials, just able to control the spin on the 15's going down the track where the 17's would break loose every time I got in the throttle all the way to the top of 3rd.
