i'm a good hour and a half maybe an hour at the least away from the fires. on the other hand, my aunt and her husband were evacuated from their home in Escondido, along with my grandparents who were evacuated from Escondido too. They came down and are staying at my moms house. No word on weather their houses have burned or not.

i would hate to see what a fire could do around here. we have had a drought pretty bad this year, almost 11" down at this point. you should see some of the lakes....
