long past? christmas was just 4 days ago... I'm not saying he's a good seller, or that I even know him, or anything about him.. but christmas time is a shitty time to send/recieve packages for the most part.

Which is why he shouldn't have guaranteed it would be here before Christmas. I specifically told him I didn't want it if it wouldn't be here by Christmas.

he just wanted to make a sale more than likely, I mean what control does he have over shipping? unless he is delivering it himself that gurantee doesn't mean **** IMO.

I suppose I will ask... when was the package supposedly sent, or supposed to be send?

edit: Jeff and *****, I should be back in hanford tonight... hit me up.

I paid him Sunday morning, the 16th of December.

The package would have been shipped Monday, the 17th of December.

Even if he shipped it first class USPS, a cheap method, it would only took 3-4 days tops.

actully during the holiday time, shipping has been known to take twice as long if not longer if not using a priority service.
I remember one time, I bought an xmas present off ebay for my brother. I got the tracking number in an email on like the 15th or so of the month, the package didn't show up until january.

ill throw this up here and it might help with the issue, i sent out a turbo for a set of harnesses and i sent the turbo prolly around the 19th or so and the guy just got it today and he was just in new york and im in wisconsin so if that tells you anything about shipping times which it should, is that his stuff is prolly on the way to your door step

If someone says "by Christmas" and it was four days ago, that's 96 hours, that seems to be a lot to me. One day is a day too long. If the buyer didn't send the money late, the seller shouldn't deliver late. It's happened to me before

my point was the seller can say whatever the hell he wants, fact is he doesn't control **** when it comes to actually recieving product other than dropping it off. I'm not backing the shipper, I'm just saying that in general, christmas time is shitty time to ship anything.
I've ordered tons of **** on christmas time, I order atleast one thing every year... every year I wait on something and it's later than claimed. if you want **** in a hurry, order 1 or 2 day delivery.. don't depend on any other service IMO.

So the seller responded and apparently he hadn't even shipped the cluster like he said he did.

Had he shipped it when he said he did, I would have had it by now.

The thing is, I got my first one for like $90 or $100.

I understand what you two are saying but a garuntee is a garuntee. UPS, DHL, and every other major shipper is working around the clock (thus is the reason they do seasonal hiring) to ensure everyone gets their packages in a timely manner. The most important this is did the guy ever fork up a tracking order or a ship invoice. He has to do on or the other. UPS say's it'll be there on the 1st, it's their on the 1st.
