[QUOTE=SL0WEGG;46039582]Would have got more in but **** sticks kept spilling oil/coolant all over the damn place. The track was down more than it was up. I was frustrated because my car wasn't running what I thought it would. I can't even get out of 12.4 to save my life. Even with more power i'm stuck.[/QOUTE]
that sucks.

Ugh. Hopefully after winter I can get my h2b in and running. I really just want to track my hatch and take it down the strip a couple times. With this wedding coming up I have to save money else where.

Alright I have 2 questions.

1. Has anyone ever put extended studs on their car in here? Advantages and how hard was it to do?

2. My wheels are staggered, 16x7/16x8 these are tire sizes I was going to run please let me know what you guys think.

16x7-205/45/16
16x8-225/45/16

This is the tire model I plan on getting as well, http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/tir...il.do?pc=28748

I don't think they are the best tires around but I'm pretty sure they will get the job done considering I don't go over 65mph & do not have to deal with snow.

Input?

extend studs are good if you have to run a spacer for anything or slicks. they also make it easier to put the wheels on. if you do get them you'll want to go ahead and get new front bearings as well cause you have to have the hub pushed out.

You can actually do it without damaging the bearing but you have to be hella careful. Most ppl would just replace the hub bearing while they are in there since its kind of a pain in the *** anyway.

OR

You could grind off one side of the stud and slide it in from the back of the hub, then pull it thru with the lugs. Then you wouldnt have to remove the hub from the car. The back of the stud should look like this: D after you grind it off.

DANG! SO SICK, thanks Gabe.

Also on the extended stud subject. I am with Jeff, I am a big fan of preventative maintenance. The bearings are how old now? And how many miles? You are adding studs for a reason, most likely, so the bearings will be seeing more "stress".
