Im getting a ride along. Holla.

On another note, got to start training a little harder. Going to sign up for Naga Great Lakes this year. Nov 5th is the competition. For those of you that dont know, I fight/train mma....jiu jitsu mainly.

Naga is a nationally ranked jiu jitsu competition so lets see how I do. I train independantly since my gym disbanded, so Im going to ask another gym about training with them until the competition starts.

Looking forward to meeting you whenever I get out to cali.

Thanks for the good luck wish bro. I was going to do it last year but I got injured due to an mma fight. A few of my teammates went and competed. My coach said I would of done quite well and possible win my division.

Car wise, looking to mount my tires this week sometime and paint the lip/sideskirts on the integra. Civic wise, still debating on what to do. Saving money for whatever I do decide to get regardless.

I can't wait to hear the butt dyno results for the down-force difference between the oem spoiler versus the "Spoon" spoiler.

Haha. I mean the flow is certainly more effective if you factor out the chassis to spoiler gap of both. One is 1 smooth piece and the other is a 2 piece with sticking out edges. I don't track my car yet so theres no basis of comparison to feel a difference. For sure it will stabilize the rear end in high speed cornering a slight amount even if I can't feel it. Spoon has more drag than the OEM even with mine having edges sticking out (plastic is a bit out of line of where it should be) but its more effective from a drag to downforce ratio. I don't want to get into it because discussing aerodynamics is knowledge/experience based but yeah. The flow through it is less turbulent but in the big picture for low drag you don't want the rear to drop off (like our hatchbacks) so by shape of the Spoon duckbill it makes it free flowing by it but behind the car it trashes the turbulence lol. Mostly from having high pressure and then low pressure right behind the hatch.

This should give you an idea.

More than anything I'm reaping the benefits from the weight savings alone.

No reason to get to in-depth here. I'm on my phone, so it is harder to copy and paste. So bare with me here. The 2 flows charts don't even show a comparison between an Oem or spoon spoiler. It will stabilize the rear with maybe some additional drag. But, normally to get some negative lift there will be a slight increase in drag. That is why they measure (-L/D), to see "how worth it, it is".

Can't believe you just compared how your car will benefit from the Spoon.

It's time for me to do my front brakes for now at least since I'm afraid one day I'm going to push down on the brake and I won't stop. I'm definitely going with Napa blank rotors since it seems like they are no different from Brembo blanks & they will probably get the job done.
It seems like Hawks will be overkill since I don't track my car or go over 65MPH so I'm stuck between

Right thats exactly what Im saying. Like formula 1 for example, its not about making downforce, its about making downforce while keeping drag to a minimum.

The price of the Gold is very similar to the Hawk HPS. Buy nice or buy twice. Hawk pads are good pads from my research and not overkill. HP+ is overkill. Ask brad, he had HPS before and from what I know about them they are a perfect street pad. I will go with them next time I upgrade pads. Having Gold pads right now I can tell you they get dusty pretty easily so dust isn't really something to compare between those. Also you have white wheels lined up so regardless you will need to go over them with a cloth semi daily lol
