Nah no flywheel, I'ma just get it resurfaced. Thread lock? If you mean the centering tool yeah it comes with it and the bearing. As of right now I'm doing it alone but I can take as much time as I need.

emmm thread lock is a liquid that you but on bolts the helps prevent then from backin out. i put them on the fly wheel bolts and clutch bolts. i would of asked about a clutch aliment tool if thats what i wanted to ask about. you really should go get some thread lock.
Oh that. Do you have any brand in mind or will just about anything do? I'ma hit up Harbor freight tomorrow and get that stuff.
Just got up here to St. Charles, IL for a Corvette show I'm working at and the weather is ridiculous!! I have never seen streamline winds like this. Some pink clouds rolled up on us with a quickness when we were setting up a lift in the tent.
ive said it before and i will say it again. per honda if anything has a torque spec they say not to put any sort of loctite on it because it can/will act as a lubricant. obviously this is a vw so who cares, the german engineers must think while exploring others **** cavity.
"are you pissin on my tent!!!"
lol scary.
What about breaking the axle nut, what should I get for that?
How strong of a torque wrench do I need for something like this? I'm looking for the torque specs because this guide doesn't have it.

and you need a torque wrench if it has a torque spec.
so you have all heard of the shocker. two in the pink and one in the stink.

Glad I get to keep them I guess.
I was putting the breaker bar in the front floor so that it wouldn't slide around while driving and I pulled it from the rear rear up and over the seat and bam, hit the headliner with it and it ripped a little hole

I was really bummed out, my headliner is so fresh and has nothing wrong with it and now it has a hole. Thats one of those things that I want to keep original and its a damn shame that I'll have to live with it =[

haha thats pretty good.
Does brand matter? I'll do that then.
Just an update on life...if everyone wants to know.
Kate and I are holding off on a house. The house we have is fine...its just we wanted something new and bigger, with an actual paved driveway and a bigger garage.
H2b is on hold a little, because I just dropped a bunch of money on an engagement ring.
Still doing all the same ****, just the motor is going to take a little longer. Just so everyone knew where I was going. :p
Hope everyones work week is going well.

I'll be holding a fappathon in preparation. haha
Most likely I'll have someone help at one point or another.
Well this is what I got today.

Just up until a few minutes ago I was changing my cluster bulbs and doing my clock amber. I broke a cluster bulb so now I'll have to buy another pack of 2 for $5 to make up for it :/ Thats why it looks dark and light in the middle.

Special way of doing it, came out almost dead on with the real thing.

For reference:
