I'm thinking about coming. I'm in Cleveland, so its about a 5 hour drive.

On the low chance that I dont end up driving, I know my brother will still want to. Would I be able to be a passanger for a few rounds, or no?

if your brother is a beginner then no. he will have to have an instructor and even if he gets signed off i would HIGHLY recommend not having a passenger. it will just be a distraction and he doesnt need that. at wmhm09 some guy signed up for intermediate because he wanted his girlfriend to ride. well he ended up almost taking out 2 or 3 other cars. his previous experience was a few years of autox so he justified it that he was an intermediate. didnt work too well and a few people were very happy about it. but you should come..it is a great event. real laid back and a good scene.

 

Ok, I talked to my brother and we're going to come up. Im not racing, but he is. Hes going to register here soon.

Couple questions, where are you guys staying that night? Hotel?

 

i camp. there are a few close hotels. this years budget got murdered so ill be camping at most events. camping is like 15 bucks for the weekend. they have showers but you have to get in early. lol.

 

Thats awesome... is there a place around there to camp at? or just anywhere? haha.. Im definitely in for camping!

 

No problem buddy. Yeah...I stated that I'm a five year member of the DMVR SCCA, (Autocross) with only ONE track day at MAM back in 2004 so I entered beginner. I also put a note in there that you referred me to this so you should get some cool free stuff for that. Hahaha.

lol. you just camp in the paddock. the paddock has a big piece of grass down the center section of it. and me..if not an eagle scout. i couldnt start a fire if i had a match and bad gas but for the price it is hard to beat. i like being at the track too because you are already there..besides going to get gas. whereas if you stay at a hotel you have to make sure you have everything etc.

 

 

So you're all camping? Were just going to stock pile on food and ice, driving both civics up there, so I can get everything gathered and all budgeted out
