Saw your bike on FGG, very nice. I have a (don't laugh) Bianchi Pista. I put it together from Craigslist as frameset buy too cheap to pass up. I usually put in about 60 miles a week by way of commuting and doing a 25 miler on Wednesday nights with the local bicycle club. I ride brakeless, it's not that crazy really. Just find a proper gear that you can slowdown and spin correctly and pay attention.

This is after I first set it up. I have since switched to a 43x16 gearing.

Some very nice bikes have been posted. I love that blue Cannondale w/the white grips. Have fun and stay safe guys!

Awesome pista man, I love those bikes. I could care less if it's a new or old fixed gear. Yeah FGG people are emailing me loving the photos

Umm, what else. Oh yes, one guy locally has a pista w/two headlights and a generator hub in the front that he does touring rides on. I'm ready for a bigger gear and to learn some proper skid stops. The lockring always comes loose when I try to experiment.

You can change the number of skid spots on your tire based on your gearing, it's some mathematical equation but I suck at math. So I found this nifty little table.

It's the bottom table. Top is to determine your gear inches.

How hard of stunnin is that? Because I plan on skidding about 2/3rds of my total ride distance and the remainder will be pure backwards circles

I plan to my bike into a SS too (peugot).

Ive tried for months to get the gears to work and for the life of me I cant get them too.

So I'm gonna ditch them. I plan on doing short hills (takes 5 minutes in a low gear to go up) and some urban riding.

Ideas on what gearing I should go with? Can I use spacers in the rear, or do i have to get a new rear wheel?

Btw, hot bianchi pista man.

I've wanted a light green bianchi steel road bike since i was a kid.

Btw; im keeping the front brakes tho!

Nice Bomber Pro Colorway is sick as hell. And I saw your frame on eBay. Pretty small.
