people, especially velo racers, just get pissed cause they don't have the ***** to ride brakeless on the streets.

And anybody who does ride a track bike with drops, knows it's a long reach down and something you don't get into on the street very much, and it's not needed much anyways. You need to stay upright and have a good view so you don't get nailed by a minivan. Risers on a street track bike are the way to go IMO for the city. Keep you upright, narrow(for fitting between cars), and you can still get some speed with them and enough forward motion for skip stops and skids.

But yeah...shutup and ride your bikes pussies.

In Ryan's (baroomhero) defense I have met him a few times as he is a mutal friend of a friend, and he is both a very cool guy and very very much into bikes. Like he said, he came off as a hater but I assure you he means no harm at all. BTW I don't know if you guys noticed but he has a ****** track bike for an avatar lol

Son-of-a-bitch maybe? lol. My point is that he said something that he observed, and everyone jumped on him. It's not like he's some outsider talking **** like Bense was, Ryan does actualy ride bikes, for hours, everyday. He's not just some guy that came in here to try and pick fights, obviously anyone would get defensive when an argument takes place. He came in on the wrong foot and got raped for it, but that's how the internet works.
