IMO that's fair, pretty damn big though, how tall are you? I also wouldn't convert it, I would just keep it as a road bike.

why wouldn't you convert it? just wondering. </TD></TR></TABLE>
it's nice to have a clean, classic road bike complete that has good components. If you're converting a bike, you are obviously on a budget and will need to change most everything out anyways- well, at least you should. Just get a cheap bike from a yard sale for 10 bucks and convert that. An older schwinn, Fuji, etc

yeah thats what i figured about having a nice complete road bike.
as of right now, i have a 1973 schwinn varsity (heaviest of the heavy
) i bought for nothing, stripped down painted and now waiting for parts. i am just reluctant to put money into it knowing its going to be heavy as hell, frozen stem, stock bottom bracket/crack, etc. it needs a new wheel set as well. thats why i was looking at the mercier kilo tt because its a brand new bike i could beat on instead. but now they're out of stock still sept.
edit: just found this.. .. basically is the outcome worth it? hah his name is Jay too

Careful with that spinergy wheel

my pictures suck..
Swobo Sanchez (front brake w/ bmx lever incase of emergencies, bottle opener under the seat
)
Bianchi Eros (for long rides with lots of hills and what not)
I'm nowhere near an advanced rider, I do the occasional road ride but mostly just get around town with friends. Bikes are fun!
