fixed gear bicycle
Touche to some of the stuff you posted. I will disagree with the any enthusiast not riding an conversion. I know quite a few people that bikes are their lives and they ride conversions. I mean not starting **** again, but I think it may be a little off.
the bike posted is a lot more safe, clips and straps now and the seat height has changed. i just dont take pictures of it a lot hahah.
Anyways, hopefully I will remember this topic a year from now so I can make fun of newcomers! hehe
Happy new years everyone! I hope you guys ahve better riding conditions than I do (snow
).

changing the seat post, doesnt make the bike fit you better. it quite possibly still could be too big for you.
but to the conversion topic, i think it all depends on the area. the people u hang with may be diffrent of the people in our areas. 90% of the fixed gears i see on the street are track bikes. but i do see quite a bit of conversions for sale on craigslist and pics online, although i dont see too many of them out on the roads(conversions).
but thats only my opinion... im building a conversion for my gf. it is a couple cm too big for her(im not complaining since it was only 20 bucks). but if she doesnt like it i could always flip it on craigslist like many of the other conversions ive seen. that or keep it for myself as a spare bike. either way id be happy. on one side i make my gf hapy by builder her a fixed gear on the other hand ride it or sell it for a budget frame i really want like the "cheaper" brass knuckle or the leader 735tr frame
reguardless, hit the streets and enjoy =O)
