if its someone you trust, go for it. I can't imagine my gearing being longer than it is right now with a b16. I'd probably be too giddy with a 4.7 ITR trans.
B16 trans would be great for NA GSR. I'd def do it if I were you. I have plans of boost and a GSR trans would be about perfect for that.
Lol. Ever since my first car, 90 Civic Si (d16a6) I boosted with HF manifold and a Tbird .63 AR T3 turbo junkyard/DIY build, I've always wanted to do it again with a better platform. It was still the most fun car I've owned and that was back when I was 16. 13.9 @ 105. Not bad had over 160,000 miles too haha. So much fun.
I just want to do it again with a GSR and an all around better setup.

Sweet. Thanks guys. Yea, this guy is local and said he had 2nd and 3rd had been replaced a month ago. He's going boost, so he wants a gsr trans. We have both agreed to meet and drive them first, then trade. I should get a lighter flywheel while I'm at it too lol..
Yea, I'd love to try another boost set up. My only one was a b16 del sol with the Greddy 18g turbo kit haha. It was damn fun. Since the turbo was small, it was still quick and peppy. No big power (maybe 265?), but still awesome for dd. If my motor didn't need some new rings, I would consider it again.
Only some small OEM stuff that I was missing in my engine bay. Battery tie down, upper timing belt cover, flywheel cover, etc.

I got a Personal Neo Grinta as a gift from a friend of mine. I helped him re-build his car over the course of about 15 months and he got it for me to kinda pay me back.

Car I helped work on.

Was originally an auto, power steering, D15B2 car. We converted it to OBD-1 for the JDM D15B, manual steering rack, 5 speed 91 SI trans, skunk 2 short shifter, s2000 head unit, and a ton more. It's a fun little car.

Oh jeesh. Here we go. Any car can be a "race car", take your grandma's station wagon out to autocross. Boom, "race" car.
Tires, fluids, front LCAs, compliance bushings, and a spacer set up for the rear end links. I made a cold air type set up, a "radiator block off" for the side of the radiator, and I moved my "driver cooling" duct to a better, more flowing area. Probably some more stuff besides typical maintenance fluids, etc.

I wonder if I drove around on the weekend with slicks and skinnies and a velocity stack sticking out of the bumper if people would automatically think my car was fast and leave me alone for a change?
I doubt I could get those slicks to even chirp with a clutch drop at limiter haha. 80WHP problems.....

I think I'll just get a nitrous bottle and purge kit that shoots out over my windshield instead of getting a swap. Scare MFers and just drive off slowly haha.
thanks went consistant 12.0s all motor, was built for a 100-150 shot but hasnt been on the bottle yet, he wanted to break into the 11's N/A before he put the bottle on it.
question guys..Will a b18c5 with b16b ctr camshats perform better than a standard b18c5 with the standard ITR camshafts.Cause I heard that if you place the ctr cams in the b18c5 you can see up to 10whp improvement. Is this true or false ?

hahaha
