oh I guess its good info to know, I don't think i'll go as far as to get the 4dr type R bottoms though, I am only planning on keeping the interior in for a couple more months anyway. . .
he has ITB's he doesn't really have an option. those are hard enough to tune for w/ Kpro, i dont even think the car would run without some sort of engine managment since the map sensor would have no way of reading anything and there would be no one TPS to boot.
KPro or not you need a vacuum manifold for the MAP sensor to function. No individual runner creates enough vacuum. Also, the ITB's support a TPS no matter which engine management you're going with; AEM, MoTeC, KPro, etc.
I don't know why more people don't go with the AEM for OBD1 or older cars.

things in open air don't generally make a whole lotta vacuum. i was saying that since he doesn't have a manifold he can't run a stock ECU, which is pretty damn obvious. and i'm not familiar with the K series stuff, but i know that most people dont / cant use a stock tps with ITBs.personally i wouldn't run AEM b/c there are cheaper options available that do a just fine job for tuning; such as Hondata- though i have no experiance with a hondata car on ITBs im sure that it could be done. is an AEM cheaper than KPro? less people tune it, thats for sure. and i've heard nightmares about cold start issues.
You get cold start issues even with hondata Robert
And sometimes the idle isn't as smooth. But you always will hear pros/cons on everything, so it kinda goes back to personal preference.
