Thats one of the reasons that I will never buy a set of Bride seats......even new. Way too many knockoff out there. Every time I see a set I just automatically think "cool knock off seats" .......even if they are real LOL

Kinda like every time I see S2K seats in anything other than an S2K..........."cool stolen seats" even if they are legit

 

haha Word^^.i feel the same way. i used to have a set and thought they were real for a moment until i found out, i traded mine for a set of eg SIR headlights. lol

 

That's how I feel about every car I see with a block code of B18C1, B18C5, B18B1, and most of all B16A2. The likelihood of the motors being from a wrecked car is pretty low while the likelihood of the motor being from a stolen car is SUPER high.

 

there are likely many wrecked gsrs out there. and as far as "ls" motors i would say the majority of them are from wrecked integras considering every 94-01 integra has a b1 in it except for gsrs and itrs, which is a butt ton.

 

Also B18b1's came in RS, LS, GS, special edition, auto, manual, two door and four door. There are literally 100's of thousands of those motors around. GSR's are definatley a different story though. But then again those weren't "limited edition" or anything either.

 

These are Bride Brix 1s. Those look like Brixs 2s. The shapes are way different. Idk, I've had acouple local shops say they're real and and some people say fake. Idk. Oh well. I got them for cheap because hes parting out his car to buy a s2000.

 

I was talking about Oklahoma though. I know in other parts of the country the market is flooded with Honda parts. The Honda scene isn't exactly flooded with legit non-stolen B-Swaps here.... We have one or two junkyards that have Hondas and they are very limited on what's available.

 

Do most of you guys with recaros, sparcos, brides, exc use the 4 point harness or just the seatbelts?

 

I wanted S2K seats for a long time (still do), but I dont because I dont want everybody too see them and think that same thing lol. I'm sure they do cause I have ITR seats in my car, but I know they are 100% legit so I dont care about they think about those.

So I am confused on how you mount it? Do you have to have a bar in the back to mount it to or something? Sorry I just want to know because I am trying to figure out what to do with the car when I get it.

 

That hatch looks great. The BYS wing used to do it for me, thought it looked "tight", now it just looks obnoxious. The Spoon-style urethane lip (or abs?) looks good, rims look great.

 

Hmmm idk I've always had a bar in the back so I've always used that for my harness. Or I believe you can use a bolt to bolt down the harness in the back seat area. Sounds confusing

 

Ya thats what I was thinking lol and I guess I will just have to look more into the different things that you can do

I know they are ebay seats but for the price and stuff I think I might get them just to use for now until I can afford to upgrade to recaros, sparcos, brides, exc.

 

Why couldn't you just use the stockers till you can get recaro/sparco/bride/etc..?

 

Because I absolutely hate the look of the stock seats lol and I could prob just sell them to a buddy when I decide to upgrade them. I am planing on completely gutting the interior and replacing carpet, seats, everything else. And right now I do not want to spend 8 or 9 hund on the seats without harness or rails.

 

So you're going to gut the interior of whatever hatch you buy and buy brand new oem panels and carpet?
