greygoose, just curious, what made you decide on that color? It reminds me of a glossy primer grey. I dig it, I'm just wondering what brought you to that decision.

P.S. all these color matched SiR wings are lookin' real good. Definitely keeping mine and color matching it

 

They're actually pretty affordable. I got mine used on Ebay for $118 shipped. With that said, the existing paint was in really bad condition:

Im not a fan of any of the JDM spoilers. Im just waiting to get my BYS spoiler sometime this yr

lol ok let me fix that.....i dont like the OEM JDM style spoilers, But i do like the BYS which im waiting to get in a few months. Yes i have a spoon style spoiler but i got it for free so why not rock it? Ill also add im not a fan of the USDM OEM spoiler. Hope i cleared this up for anyone that got confused from my previous statement.

 

I'm the total opposite I guess.... I think the BYS spoiler can instantly ruin a good car and all the OEM JDM spoilers and even the standard US spoiler are my favorites. Less is more.

the car i picked it up already painted this color but even before i was gonna do my white hatch aviator grey also i just got lucky finding one already painted, but the paint isnt the best when i got the car it wasnt as smooth as it is now lots of cutting and buffing, but the car is gonna get resprayed here soon because im picky and dont really care for the flaws in the paint but its gonna be the same color but id always see the Audi TT's which the color is off of and for some reason I liked the color reminded me of jet or something that was gonna go fast or have guns pop out lol ever since then i always said i wanted a aviator grey car. I remember playing the first Forza game and id always build a Flat Grey eg hatch on there haha, its also a really low maintenance color in those pics i havent cleaned the car since like last week and you cant even tell the car is dirty unless u actually get up close.


its not OEM its a aftermarket Mini Hood bra. car will be getting a oem one soon, i just picked that up because i didnt want chips up front (even though it dont cover much lol) and i picked it up for 10 bucks which is a lot cheaper then oem. but for sure the car is getting a oem bra

 

I wish i had pics of it when i first got it. looked like a stock eg with the grey paint. they painted over everything though side skirts door handles, mirrors, and left the front bumper grills all grey. so i went over everything and resprayed the front bumper grills (92-93) and the side skirts. looks completely different now then when i got it, still got lots too go, hopefully next month the motor is coming out to spray the bay, instead of the rattle canned black i got it with lol
i remember when i was driving the car back bringing it home i was like wtf did i get myself into, lol but oh well looks a lot better now always nice to add your own flavor to a car and look back at what the car looked like before and now, makes u appreciate it more.

 

All this talk about rear spoilers.......I secretly like the C West spoiler that fits over the stock spoiler but I dont think my car could pull it off lol

Tum tum very nice. Was it hard to decide between an ap1 and ap2? I like the 9k rpm, but I love the ap2 interior. It's a toss up. I actually like ap1 lights more, I'm weird like that.

Made it look like a 92-93? That's what I did, looks much cleaner imo. I did the rear bumper too.

I've never been a fan of eg's always been a dc/da type of Honda guy...until I started seening hatch's with BYS spoilers and needless to say I fell in love and made it a point to own one and buy a BYS Spoiler for it so with that said....



however rockin the 2piece was nice, clean and simple

haha it's funny that you weren't into hatches until you started seeing them with BYS spoilers, and that's what made you wanna get one.

Seeing a hatch with a BYS spoiler makes me wish I never had one.

But to each their own! Not tryin' to spark any cyber rage just pointing out differences haha
