I lived on Lucas Creek and Colony, so I know exactly where you are talking about. Where do all the imports hang out in Hampton Roads now? Car theft an issue around there at all? I've wanted to move back, but wasn't sure how the theft problems were out there.

I actually live off Nicewood. Right down the street from Colony. I work at the Merchants on Warwick. As for the car theft rate, was really bad for awhile and then it died off. So all is well..
My little cousin has a pretty clean little championship white EG on bronze slipstreams you might see running around occasionally. Glad to hear the theft isn't bad out there now. Where do all the imports hang out on the weekends now? It used to be over there by what was the Coliseum Mall and I remember them hanging out at the big K-Mart by Kiln Creek back in the day too. I haven't lived there in 10 years, but go back to visit pretty often.
Just to keep it EG related......

I dont really see how the rays nuts are POS any anodized aluminum subjected to that amount of heat is going to fade, it just happens. I have rays red lugs on my car I just sell my faded set at the begining of spring for $100 and buy a new set for another $40 to rock that year lol

"But it came in a larger can and was fed through an air gun for wider / more even coverage.
You should be able to get the stuff at any professional auto/body supply store."
Heres what it looks like.

Ive just gone back to black steel nuts now
Thanks HBK, do you know if they took the old off or just sprayed over what was already there? I started removing some of mine and its a BITCH.
Yeah looks like they stripped it.

I've seen a lot of restorations and the people who are meticulous strip them off, its a long process since it doesn't come off easy but just take your time.
