That's a base A3 motor. Local just made 235whp on a bone stock k20z1. Another dude with a bone stock K24a2 made 245whp on e85. Everybody and their moms have K series around here.

tq factor for me really. Theres a local guy selling a k24a1 for $300. Only thing missing is the VC. If I didn't kill my diff, I would have bought it just to have it. But i'm a bit hesitant right now.

I know a guy who makes 340whp on a 2234cc 12.5:1 K20, his custom intake manifold made 20whp more than Kinsler ITBs. But there are guys making over 400whp NA on Kseries.

 

Thats a **** ton of power out of a 2.2L. Must have some serious head work and big cams.

OEM lsd, has worked pretty good so far, I've only had it with a stock B16 and stock B18 though. Hope it never goes out because it saves me when it snows!

Tek, that thing is really, really, really freakin nice. It all goes together very well, the ties it together nicely. The rims are SUPER sick, probably my favorite thing on your car. The K20 makes it all the better. Still haven't ridden in a K20 car except a stock '06 Si.
