I hear good things, the torque is good. Would like to know more as well. I've raced a DA from a roll and it was neck and neck.

Torque and future potential. I would do a b18b1 with a GSR transmission. You also have the potential to upgrade to a VTEC head and they are also great turbo motors as well.

i would only do an LS swap if the plan was to turbo it,because its not much more than the d16z6 stock vs.stock..not enough to even matter imo

I disagree when my hatch was non turbo my LS motor with GSR tranny would pull on B16 powered hatches. The TQ is nice and the highway cruising is good with the GSR trans. The reason LS motors seem slow is the transmission.

you make a good point,i bet the GSR trans makes a nice difference, but if the Ls still had the Ls trans,***** a little faster than a d16z6.although like you said...the Tq on the higway is much better than the z6 im sure,idk...i just feel like,if your gunna go through the time to do a swap, atleast make it worth your while..

I do agree with you on that. Even though I liked my LS motor/GSR tranny had the car not already came with that setup when I bought it I would have swaped a GSR in instead.

They have good power stock and a nicely geared tranny for the street. They also handle boost well. the GSR I mean

lol,ive let her drive my setup, says she doesnt care for the power, shes happy with the GSR with just bolt ons, especially since she drives a d16z6 as a daily/winter,so when she hops back in her hatch it feels like enough, for her atleast

I think I'm going to do a B18B1 swap with the GSR transmission like mentioned above. I used to have a 95 Integra sedan - LS w/ B16 trans, it kept up with my friends B16 powered EJ coupe lol, but he pulled later on. Should be a fun car.

Haha I would, but it would be my daily as well as be used on road trips and such. So I don't want to go overkill when I don't need to.

You guys are talking about ls motors with gsr trannys. I used to run a stock b20z2 with a s4c tranny and would be a beast for a simple oem setup

I had an ls w/gsr trans in my coupe before and it was good enough for driving around and what not. Now the coupe has a vx motor in it. Whenever I drive my hatch it feels ridiculous

I'n not 100% sure about the color, i believe that it is lausanne green pearl... The wing on that hatch is a real spoon wing ( if that question was according to the same picture )
