they never made a cx trim in rhd, but molding less yes, my old chassis serial (vin) started with eg6, but came with no bronze tint windows, non power doors (manual) manual climate, no carpet, pretty much a base model eg but with a eg6 serial

 

Are you sure someone in japan didn't shave the moldings trying to copy the us version its hard to believe a eg6 with no side moldings maybe a eg4 or a vti

Whatever happened to your house renovation?

I'm assuming you'll be selling that once you relocate?

 

I know man, I've wondered what was going on with the house renovation thread.... I checked it not to long ago and it hadn't been updated in a while.


Kind of depressing, but my hatch has sat in the garage for a month now due to a broken timing belt tensioner...... Just don't have the time or patience to F with it right now. Do you guys that have owned your cars for a while ever get the urge to just sell it and move on? I don't even want another project, just want to stop working on cars for a while and enjoy other things. I'd like to save for something like this-

 

Yes, I'm sick of working on my car. After my last swap I don't even want to change the oil. I'm having a shop do a clutch job for me over break, getting my rust fixed and I'll probably even have someone change my oil lol. I'm getting lazy with it I guess, it's the cold too. It's also I hate the rear T-bracket, such a pain to put back in.

 

 

Dude - you are speaking to the choir. Not only do I have a lot of cars (17 years in the game) - but I have other hobbies as well. So yeah - my motiviation w/ the cars has been on a steady decline for the last few years. I'm back into RC helis and planes (using a camera and video link to fly a rc plane/heli 10 - 20 miles away ( http://vimeo.com/15174836 ). It's cheaper than cars and it's more rewarding - LOL. But I'll always have a streetfighter or 2 that's ready to prove a point in a pinch. I am slowly growing away from cars though I can tell. At the end of the day I'll have a tow-rig, the Datto 510, the 1st gen civic, B13 and the rest will prob be gone. Maybe grab a Grand National and retire and let the ricers have it - LOL. I put my time in though and like RokStok said I am not interested in wrenching these days.

 

I thought i was the only one who felt that way lol. I havent changed my oil since last spring.

 

Well - I guess in my defense the winter time does make it kinda "blah" for me and I find motivation in the Spring - but the simple fact is that yeah, it's getting old - or I'M getting old - LOL.

 

I haven't needed to, haven't put 3,000 miles on my car this year...... 4 out of the 12 months my car was inoperable or in a million pieces, for 2 months it was too damn hot to drive it with no A/C and the other 6 months I barely drove it on the weekends....
