My favorite story...

I was riding shotgun in my friends 95 ex...we were at wawa getting some food before heading to the bar, as we were about to pull out some dumbass kid in a late 90's mustang gt revved at us, we lol'd and drove away. We ended up next to him farther down the road, he put his car in third, and took off. We "tried" keeping up by staying in 4th gear...my friends coupe had a piston/rod gsr block, stock itr head, itr trans, afi ramhorn and a precision billet 6262 and made 410whp@14psi. The kid in the mustang had his gf or something riding shotgun so we continued the 4th gear joke runs so he could impress her, but then we decided that 3rd gear would be funny. The dudes neck literally snapped when the wastegate opened at his driver side window as we went flew by spinning all of third gear.

 

I realllyyy need some opinions on a rear spoiler for my car. I can not for the life of me decide on either a J's spoiler or a oem jdm 1 piece spoiler for my car

for the j's i can get my hands on a dirt cheap 2 piece jdm spoiler for it so no big deal

Looks good the way it is right now but if you change it up go with the 2 piece. J's is way to bulky imo.

 

^^ What he said. Ship it. Rock it like it sits. I hate it when people try too hard and start going backwards. It's fresh as it sits sir. The only thing I'd do is try to subdue that BC(?) exhaust. Cut it back... and toss a Vibrant black on it.... covert.... grown man style.

 

im diggin the blue on the spark plug cover, really brought it all together nicely.. polished distributor would finish this off nicely....

That's hilarious. We used to do that to Mustang guys in my buddy's 450WHP stock looking GSR. Definitely fun to make them think their car is fast and then blow by them like they are standing still.

OEM JDM with the hatch part painted white and the spoiler part left satin black. Duckbills < OEM

Definitely no J's Racing spoiler on such a simple clean car.

 

i agree about oe japanese spoilers (i had a 2piece..have a 1piece now. just not painted..saving it for some plans down the road) but duckbill always look good too.

 

I'd stick with the duckbill, unless you have your heart set on changing it up then id go OEM.

My OEM JDM 1 piece doesn't appear much different than a stock USDM wing to me. Sure it's a subtle difference but I find it hard to justify if you've already got something else. If you want specific angles for pics let me know!

 

jdm one seems a bit longer and has some "kick" to it plus obviously the brake light.

 

whats the deal with the mustaches on the front bumper. is it a company/ crew. or just that its suppose resemble a person as the headlights being eyes and the bumper grill being the mouth. Trend Thing?!

Yep its a bit longer than the stock wing. If you put two car's side by side. You'd be able to tell the difference. It looks much better, the stock one looks retarded short. The long brake light is pretty kick *** as well.
