hey you guys i have a question...is the cx throttle cable LONGER than the si cable? im asking because my mini me has a cx bottom, z6 head/im, and the throttle cable seems "loose" from the mounting bracket to the throttle body. Its about a 10" distance from mounting bracket to throttle body, like 6 inches or cable is showing while the rest is the boot, adjusting nuts.

Some puto face backed into my quarter panel on the passenger side and dented it in a bit. So ima have that fixed and just get the whole car painted. Plus it has a few lil imperfections here and there that id liked fixed.

Mashimaro, I called up a distributor in my state of project mu and they said they couldnt find pads for the rear, they only make rotors for the front and pads but they dont have any of the rear stuff. So it seems Project Mu doesnt make rear pads, any thoughs? I would like to get something aftermarket but I'm running out of options and time (braking is getting noisier by the minute). Might just go OEM.

Thanks for the help!

Just do oem pads in the rear...you don't need some fancy pads for the rear...most of the braking on a civic is the front anyway.

Ah, my brakes are seizing in the back so should I order anything else besides the pads? So sorry guys, I'm a noob to this.

What part numbers for the pads and whatever else I'll need from Honda?

I would go with brembo blanks and Axis metal master pads. Good cost effective setup for the street imo. I can give you a number for the guy I buy all my parts from he could give you some more options too, just tell him what you are looking for and he will suggest a combo Make sure you grease the slides on your calipers while you are in there.

I can hear noise if I don't brake gently so Im assuming the pads are VERY thin but will the rotors be warped and require replacement? I dont really want to upgrade, I just want some nice pads!

Really confused as what to get, too many options!

If you are hearing noise either your pads are worn down to the wear tab(or further) or your rotors/pads are glazed over. Do your rotors look really shiny?

If you are not getting vibration your rotors are not warped.

Basicly take your wheel off and see how much meat is left on the pads if there is none you need new pads if there is still a bunch of pad left glazing has occurred. In that case buy your self a set of new pads and get your rotors cleaned up by a machine shop.

I wish I could tell you exactly what pad to buy but honestly just try a few different ones out. If you try one you dont like just swap them out for a new set. I think I was getting the Axis for $30 a front set. which is usually less than going out to dinner ya know? Just leave your rears stock for now and play around with the fronts for a little bit you will figure out what works for you.
