Re-did my entire bay this week. I still had to drive it to work all week, so I took it one step at a time. I think it came out pretty good for spray paint and only working on it for a few hours each night. New Tanabe full coilovers and a couple small interior goodies coming soon too.

No, a stock B16 with A/C will more than likely be what goes in there. I don't need to spend K money on something that just gets me to work and back. If I win the lottery or a rich relative dies I might do it.

 

I have a b16 with P/S and AC.... I love the motor it does me just fine but If I could do it all over again I'd Go With a GSR cause the B16 has NO LOW END!!!! I promise ure D-Series Has More Low End.... My Best Friend put a Gsr Swap with AC in his coupe and it feels alot more peppy in the Low End than my car, not to mension If we Run he Pulls me Hard.... When you plan on Doing a Swap?

 

I'm getting married in October and my soon to be wife has agreed to let me use whatever money we get from the wedding for my swap. Just buying a house and paying for wedding stuff eats funds pretty quick... I had a B16A in my old hatch and was really happy with it. I just want something cheap and fun.

 

Cool... She Seems to be Cool with the Car Thing LOL.... Yea I love my B16 to death but some days I do wish I had that extra TQ of a GSR. Either was a B16 > D Series, I've been there done that.

 

 

I am pretty set on that motor since a GSR swap would be about $1000 more for 10-20 ft lbs of torque and 10HP.... My car is so slow now that anything will be better than whats in there haha.

here are my eg's..... white is my daily... silver is the forgotten project. pics are from a meet i recently had at my shop so i just dusted off the silver hatch and rolled her out...... first time she has seen direct sun or been out the bay in months, its sad.

 

Most EGs from NY or Jersey seem to look that way. Ebay special parts.

 

I'm from NY, and wouldn't dream of building mine like that.

50/50 tails are aftermarket tails and I see them the same as Altezza style tails.
