Its not about how many spoon parts you have, basically you have to have the look or the theme that spoon has for their cars and you can be certified. You just have to have a car that reflects spoon's ideology which are usually form>function and simple. Its hard to explain without being wrong but its just about having a car that represents spoon in general.

Hey, is anyone elses' tach off as bad as mine is? I have a B16A and I think it thinks I have an EG6 cluster because where I'm shifting is around where the redline is on the EG6 tach.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83ex5D2VXIo
The tachometer doesn't have anything to do with redline, the computer recieved digital imput form the distrubtor that tells it the rpm, so where you hit rev limit is where the computer is cutting fuel; if you have the right computer it should be at 8200 on a B16 iirc. If it was the tach that determined rev limit, I wouldn't be able to spin my D to 8600. More than likely the tachometer itself is off, I know mine is off by about 300 rpm, but my buddy Brandon's was off by nearly 1k, he ended up getting a nasty monster tach to find out why everything was so funky. Try getting a new cluster and see if that changes it. If it doesn't something is up elsewhere with either the ECU itself, you could have the wrong one since that looks about the stock D series redline point, or with the digital output from the dizzy. Hopefully that makes sense....

I appreciate it. I'm just running the stock P30. What's funny is that there was a time when it allowed me to rev to "8000" rpm before hitting the limiter, but then the next day it was back at "7200." I quote those because they're obviously not the real rpm value.

Here's my thread about this problem so we don't get too off topic in here.

Question, are EGs uncomfortable in the back? I ask that because it doesnt seem like theres a lot of room and since the windows don't go down, pple might feel trapped a little. Especially for long trips, are they alright to stuff 2 friends in the back and drive to the beach or something like that? I get the feeling that when you get out of the car all you will want to do is stretch lol.

An Eg Hatch has more room than an eg coupe and a 2 door integra... Alot more head room and a tad bit more leg room.

Definitely one of the more confortable hondas, with regaurds to rear headroom, leg room is so so, but compared to my RSX, it has way more leg and head room in the back. You planning a trip in your EG?

Get the jdm rear interior. 100x more comfterable then the usdm seats. You sit more reclined and lower in the seat for more head room.

Thats interesting, I always thought that the EG was supposed to be cramped or whatever but when I sit back there its like, theres tons of head room, theres elbow space, the front seats have enough room to move forward quite a lot so its no problem compromising a little. Even if the person in the passenger has it to be as confortable as he likes, there is still good leg room so you could ask him to move a little and it wouldn't be a big deal.

Neat, I had no ideas they were that spacious, my sister's beetle sucks for headroom in the back lmao bc it curves in. Yeah RXS dont have that much legroom, especially not when you compare it to an EG. Ha yeah man, some of my friends look at my car like its an econobox or whatever but thats because I havent taken them out on a drive yet and around here, you do not see them. My friends have never seen one unless the ones that know about em through me. They are that rare haha. They look at it like its shitty or whatever but its really a nice car. Its just always been my dream to get my close friends together on a nice summer day and all go to Six Flags in the hatchie with the moonroof up ahah. Thats why Im wondering.

Yeah they have a dip in them and that looks confy, snuggier. I think the EG rear seats arent that reclined and thats probably where Im getting the idea of it being cramped.

Don't we all!

Also, my rear seats can be lifted an inch or 2, is that normal? I get the feeling it was removed at some point and not properly bolted in. I can also pull the sides a good bit and see under it.

The seat must not be correctly position. There should be two metal hooks on the bottom of the seat that go in a certain way. After you have those in, you have to use the 10mm bolt to bolt the rear part of the seat to the floor. Or your seat is just folding on the sides.

Yeah the hooks are in and thats whats stopping the seat from going up higher. I need to try and take them out and put it back in. It folds in the sides, yes.

Yeah but do you have the correct setup? I plan on doing that eventually but not for a good while. Money is so tight. Id like to get 4dr bottoms and 2dr rears, that way they have no gap. Mashimaro's seats are so hot!!

Looks damn comfy thats for sure. Its not the right set up though. You have a gap in the center where the backs meet the bottoms. You need USDM ITR Backs and you need JDM 4 door ITR bottoms. The 4dr bottoms are wider and fatter a little bit and it fills that space on the sides and where they meet. Theres more padding in them. Though you want to make sure you get USDM ITR backs because they have less padding and fit better.
