((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
(mostly the wheel is on there because it has the same build date as the car stamped into it May 93)
I have had oem US & jdm and JDM ITR. The spoon is the exact thing I have except for stitching and horn button.....and cost$$$$more lolI like to be able to take the wheel off also
Yeah, that nardi looks badass, the horn button is the iffy part on your current wheel. Plus the yellow doesnt go with anything else. Sucks that these wheels don't have airbags lol. I need a steering wheel wicked bad but Im just going to have to get the cheapest that I can find, so prob USDM stock. Being a granada black hatch owner, your ride inspires me haha
Your paint looks real nice.

Hey guys, I need your help here. I currently have Function Form Type 1 coilover and I HATE the ride. Rides wayy too stiff for me.
Currently this is how my car sits:

I'm in the market for new suspension. Preferabally a Shock/Spring combo, not a one piece coilover. I'm looking for suggestions on anything, just a few quidelines...
Drop should be or close to what I have.
Spring/Shock Combo, not One Piece Coilovers.
Ride quality is close to stock or twords the soft side. (I'm sick of bouncing all around when I hit a bump)
Thanks guys!

I doubt it, its been like this since I bought them new in July. (I have never adjusted the spring height, only the lower mount) I like a nice soft ride, almost close to stock. My back kills me, (I have a bad back), when I ride with this suspension. I took a ride in my friends 96' Spec ITR and he has Mugen "Low Downs" and it was the smoothest suspension I have ever felt. Almost like stock, but with a mild drop. I'm currently on a hunt to find a comparable suspension to that, but with more of a drop.
bouncing is caused by shock rebound, not by spring rate. so if you have a terrible shock your car will bounce no matter what. a soft spring will mask that, but its still there. its not something im making up... it's fact.
I also was reading last night, what people have been doing is buying Koni yellows, putting the collar ring to the bottem position and running GSR/ITR springs. I'm not sure how well that will ride, but seems like a good concept. Any one try that in here?
Not necessarily bad, just that the shock is overwhelmed by the spring rate is on there. IMO after looking at the shock dynos of F&F the shock is well overmatched by the spring rate. Koni Yellows are a great suspension, I have them on my car with ground controls and I would highly recommend them. Lifetime warranty too! I can't attest to their height with ITR springs however.
Yes indeedy to Frost White. Boo to blue interior though.

Haven't taken any new pics in a while. Waiting til Spring to get out of "winter" mode.
