Thanks guys, I think it looks much better too. Now I just have to fix the million tiny dents and dings on the rest of the car. LOL.

I have a question about suspension parts. I'm refreshing my entire suspension to ensure everything is tight and reliable. So far I've installed Progress coilovers and ordered inner and outer tie rod ends. I would like to install a front and rear sway bar as well, so I've been told I need to replace the front LCA with one from a car that had a stock sway bar (mine is 92 CX, so no sway bar). What car do I need to order the LCA's from? Will everything bolt up correctly?

I'm also ordering rear LCA's (OEM replacement), and the subframe brace since I'll be running a bigger rear sway bar. Are there any other suspension parts I should replace while I'm at it?

You may want to consider adjustable end links for your sway bar

I would go ahead and replace all the bushings in the suspension components if you haven't already. The rear trailing arm bushings especially.

My car only had 120k miles or so, rarely driven in the snow/salt etc. and all the bushings were cracked or rotted when I replaced them a few years back. The rear trailing arm bushings were TOAST from the car being lowered.

Interior looks sweet indeed. I like that rear seat delete kit, I sat in an EG once that had it. Looks real clean and I often will fold my rear seats to achieve that clean look. It's less cluttered too it seems when driving and looking in the rear view mirror haha. I think EGs aren't big enough in the back to seat 2 people comfortably enough in this day of age. Most wouldn't want to get back there anyways so making the EG a 2 seater is not a huge deal IMO. I have buckets so that's how that goes...

For your suspension, this is what I would recommend:

EG Civic Si front LCAs have the holes for mounting a sway bar. For reference they came with a 21mm sway bar which is plenty to start out with. I'd get one and then just play with the rears first. The LCA will bolt right up as it is the same part but with a mounting hole drilled into it basically.

Which rear LCA are you using right now? EG LCAs don't have the mounting holes for a sway bar. You must be using GSR rear LCAs if you already have a bar. You should get new sway bar bushings and new LCA bolts. Those bolts are not cheap but you want to ensure the old ones are not seized in there. If they are, use an impact wrench to shake it up because using a simple ratchet or wrench might cause the head to twist off and that would be crappy.

I also highly suggest you stick to OEM endlinks. You won't see a benefit for the adjustable endlinks and they are not as good as OEM endlinks.

As a side note, look into buying a special steering rack adjustment tool from Honda. I don't have the P/N on me right now but can get you if needed. It is used to tighten up your rack and makes it feel tighter since it gets loose over time. It's a $20 tool.

As for sway bar bushings, Id go with OEM or Energy suspension would be good too. Some people have reliably issues with polyurethane but for sway bars it should last a great deal, be cheaper and have less deflection.

Finally make sure you preload the LCA bushings when you install the new LCAs otherwise they will wear out prematurely. It is simply just tightening the LCA bolts with them at the same angle as if they were on the ground. You can place a jack under it and estimate at what angle the LCA would be if it was on the ground. Good luck!

I appreciate all of the information everyone.

I don't have a rear sway bar currently, when I said "bigger" I meant bigger than the stock Si sway bar (I thought that the EG Si's had rear sway bars) so that's my mistake, apologies. So I will need to purchase Integra GSR (what year?) rear LCA's to use a sway bar? Is that all?

I'm hesitant to do Energy Suspension bushings, I've used their kits before, and they are great, but they seemed to make everything TOO tight and made the car less livable for daily driving due to additional vibrations, squeaks, and rattles.

My steering is loose, so I will look into that tool, I'll see what I can find.

Thanks again!

Ah yeah. EG Sis aren't factory equipped with rear sway bars. Not here in the US but some EGs were equipped with them in other parts of the world.

You need 94-01 GSR LCAs + endlinks + bushings and bushing brackets. Stock GSRs had no subframe reinforcement but the Type Rs did have a brace (22mm sway bar on them) so if you get a sway bar that is 22mm or bigger, I would suggest you get a reinforcement brace.

You can get an ASR rear subframe brace as that will accommodate any size sway bar. I will mention though, Beaks makes something called the Beaks SRK (Subframe Reinforcement Kit) which is these plates that sandwich between where the bolts go to spread the load. They were designed for the 22mm ITR bars. I actually have that bar sitting here and wanted to go that route but will just save a little extra and get the ASR brace.

I am weary of ES bushings too but it depends a lot where they are used. I think for shifter bushings or sway bars its ok, just wouldn't install their RTA bushings for example.

Heres the PN for that tool

(1) 40mm Steering rack adjustment wrench 07AAA-TL2A100 $ 20.53

You dont need lcas and bar from only a gsr. Thought all 94-01 integras used the same lca's and bar and 92-95 ex sedan had same lcas with the sway bar being 1mm smaller.

Ya know, im actually pretty confidant that 92-95 ex sedan and 94-01 rs/ls/gs coupes are 13mm. 94-01 sedans and gsr coupe/sedan are 14mm. 94-97 delsol b16a3 have 15mm. All lcas between them are the same.

I thought I was going to lose my home, the Civic, and my wife's TSX last night.... There was a pretty large tornado/tornados that came just a couple miles from my house. The rotation lifted right before it got to our house and then dropped back down on the other side of our town. Crazy *** weather here this year.

I'd move the **** out of OK. Any of the times I was over there, there was tons of hail and storms.

Glad you are ok, and didn't lose anything.

What are your goals?

If anything you can never go wrong with Groundcontrol/Koniyellow combo.

Yeah I don't know which others but it sounded like he was going to buy new. I don't know if regular Integras had sway bars to but yeah those will work too.

All LS, RS, GS Integras had front and rear sway bars and the parts all swap over to EG. I have LS front LCAs in my attic in case I decide to run a front sway at some point.

Wrd. I need to get my rear sway installed but I'm in no rush. Don't feel like spending guap on an ASR brace lol.

I haven't been here too much but this is what I've been up to. Picked up 225/45/16 and 205/50/16 Direzza ZIIs for my 16x8 and 16x7 WedsSports TC05. They'll be getting mounted on Wednesday and I'll be able to test fit them to get an idea. It will need some fender rolling so I'll try and do that before sending it off to get bodywork done to fix my passenger side dent. So yeah things are moving nicely.

I also just recently swapped out my steering rack and steering column. Added power steering in the process since it had been deleted which made the original rack go bad/have play.

Before that I installed all new brakes. New rotors, calipers and Hawk HPS pads. Stops well and the dust isn't too bad. Good setup for the street. Really excited to put them to the test with the ZIIs.

My rear main seal is leaking and I'm contemplating picking up an Exedy Stage 1 clutch and lightweight flywheel but I'm not sure its worth the cost. With the cost of a swap, I just have to be cost conscious so that I don't end up spending the cost of a swap doing things that won't make it as nice as a swap. What do you guys think?

That's funny lol. Exactly what is probably going to happen. Thought to just skip the clutch as it will probably blow anyways lol. For some reason it doesn't even bother me. I suppose it's my daily so it would be a problem haha. I would rather wait and just get the motor that I really want instead of just a B16A.
