Put in a bid on a set of Evo IV Recaro seats on YAJ thinking I would get outbid easily. I ended up winning and will get both seats together for less than $200 shipped. I can hunt down used rails for pretty cheap too since they are the same as DC2 and EK9 Recaros (SR3}.
I think they will look pretty decent in a red EG
where u said u get that set?

The latest. I got most of the stuff on the firewall done, just need to button up a few things on the motor and it should be ready to go in. I can not get the damn crank pulley bolt out to save my life. I've got a two foot long breaker bar, a jack handle over the breaker bar and stood on the bar all 160lbs of me and it won't break loose. I've tired air tools too and it won't budge.....

I've heard from a few of my engine builder buddys that it's a bad idea to use heat right there because it might damage the main seal or fatigue the bolt and make it fail completely, then I'd be uber screwed. I can't get any more leverage. I've literally got 4 feet of breaker bar and have had my next door neighbor (a lot bigger than me) crank on it while I sat on the motor to keep it still and it still won't move.... I've PB blasted the **** out of it too.
I'm about ready to jam the engine stand up against the brick wall at my house, put the breaker bar up against the bumper of my truck and slowly start backing up using the truck to break the bolt loose. I'm going to try that first and see how sketchy it is. If that is too sketch I might just put the motor in the car, then use the weight of the car and the ground in my garage to break the bolt loose and see which breaks loose first, the bolt or the slab cracking in half in my garage. I can't think of anything else.....
